It's just a completely redesigned (longer, harder) Super Metroid. The map layout is completely new and there are some new game mechanics, such as speed booster puzzles in the vein of Zero Mission and Fusion. See the map I linked above.

After it gets going I'd say it's definitely good by Metroid standards. The level design is excellent.

It doesn't run on some emulators (you need a pretty new version of Snes9x or Zsnes) on PC, so it's hard to say without first hand experience

Wall jumping is slightly harder now and I actually preferred to play it on keyboard rather than my pad so the psp d-pad might make it frustrating at times. Also in case you wonder, you need a power-up to wall jump, but you get it very early.

Hmm, I had my PSP's d-pad modded, so that shouldn't be a concern. SNES emulation however, is pretty crappy on the PSP. I can't believe that no one's really solved it yet. :/

No. Especially when the commentary is PRETENDING to be playing the game.

The funny commentary is awesome.....and certainly helps the video stay entertaining when the player is dying to the same obstacles over and over again. Much improved over the original version.

I recently found a way to play Seiken Denetsu 3 with 3 players. The game only lets you play 2 players normally for whatever reason. Its not a huge hack but it made my two friends and I very happy.

Yoshi's Island full hack. Full of awesome, too.

Zelda : PW is currently being sort of revamped, it's playable (and beatable), but it has some bugs and typos. Some people also bitched about the beginning being too hard and the blue boomerang being a missable item.
