Licensed games you wish existed

I'd love to see a Flash video game...but thinking on it, it would likely be very difficult to make something work for his world and powers while making it fun. A proper Green Lantern game would be pretty boss, or something with Lobo.

Or maybe a Hellsing game that fully explores Alucards potential. Yea. I want that.

A "walking simulator" game based on Simon Stålenhag's art

An action adventure game based on "The Plucker"

An open world game based on Dinotopia

For me it has to be a decent Star Wars game with 1:1 light saber gameplay. This could have been so easy to do last generation. Just get the same Ubisoft team that did Red Steel 2 to do a Star Wars version. Substitute Samurai/Ninja powers for Force Powers, the Wild West guns for Star Wars guns and the Samurai Sword for a light saber...

And then count that ridiculous amount of money.

I'm surprised that Ubisoft didn't pitch that idea to LucasArts tbh. It would have sold a shitload. A huge opportunity missed.

:o(

Harry Potter RPG where you create your first year student, and follow them throughout their seven years at Hogwarts. Can happen before or after the Harry Potter series.

Lego Back to The Future

Not going to lie, this is something I'd love. Surprised it didn't happen this year but I guess with Jurassic World and Dimensions they couldn't get it done for the anniversary.

Also liking the Harry Potter mentions, it does feel like there's a lot of potential for that world in games that may never be reached.

Not a license because it's obviously out of copyright, but a Divine Comedy walking simulator would be pretty sweet, especially if based on Dore's art.

Def Jam Vendetta 3 by AKI Corp/Syn Sophia
Negima ARPG by the Kingdom Hearts team
Rurouni Kenshin by Platinum
Jump Stars 3 by Sakurai

I feel like a DBZ fighter in the style of a more traditional 2D fighter would be a ton of fun. Obviously it could include some unique things to make it "more DBZ", but with the typical controls and inputs of a 2D fighter.

As I say everytime I see this question my ultimate dream licensed game would be Stephen Kings Dark Tower as an Open world third person RPG.

The Dark Knight was a big one for me until Arkham Asylum came in out. Right now, I want Pacific Rim by Platinum.

(Blank) by Platinum feels like a cop out answer.

I want another Buffy game, I loved the one on Xbox and Chaos Bleeds, chances of it happening are pretty much zero though I guess.

A warhammer 40k RPG based on dark heresy. I definitely wouldn't like it to be first person. It must be a traditional RPG with party management.

A MacGyver adventure game. How has this not happened yet? It's so obvious.

A Power Rangers RPG with tactical combat. Chroma Squad came close, so much so that Saban got huffy at them, but it only had the combat and was more focused on the "TV Show" aspect than anything else that could make it really fun.

An Archer game by Obsidian.

They know their spy stuff from Alpha Protocol, and they got the art styling handling down from South Park.

It'd be glorious.
