Yeah, I'd be all over a Steam LE Upgrade for current owners.
Just make all the bonus stuff digital.
As it is, I already own the game and only want the Soundtrack, but $40 for that alone is a bit much.
(Not to mention that as a US resident, I don't even own a PS4/XBO.)

Best Buy might reopen preorders for the LE as the release date draws near. That's how I got my MGSV LE. I guess it depends on how much stock they are getting.

PS4 european limited edition preordered from SE online store. Can't wait to platinum this again on PS4

Bit of a bump, but the PC version has been reduced down to £14.99 on Game.co.uk with free delivery.
Amazon seems to have reduced it to an even £15 too, if you, like me, flat out don't trust GAME to deliver.
