Probably I go thought a Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro.....

Ubiquity's stuff doesn't just magically setup a bunch of subnets or VLANs. Did you configure those or not?

On that same settings page is a Local Networks option.

Comma separated list of IP addresses or IP/netmask entries for networks that will be considered to be on the local network when enforcing bandwidth restrictions. If set, all other IP addresses will be considered to be on the external network and will be subject to external network bandwidth restrictions. If left blank, only the server's subnet is considered to be on the local network.

I have my main network then I have a guest network. That is it.

I may need to open some ports and that is why I cannot get my PLEX to stream outside the network. I would also love to build a pi-hole into my Dream machine, I am just nervous about it so I don't do it.

Make sure your TV is connected to the main network. Not the guest network.

The Dream machine is an amazing router. But a terrible device for someone who's not comfortable with networking. Learn from articles/guides, or maybe get something more consumer oriented.

I am comfortable with it, and I set it up using lots of tutorials. Just anytime you need to access root to add something makes me nervous.

TV and PC are all hardwired to the main network. I ran CAT6 thought the whole house.

I even use Ubiquity security cameras.
