Limbo sells 1 million copies (Mac version incoming)

Lovely. Great to read that they own themselves. For now :p.

A game worthy of the sales. I'll buy it again on Steam when it hits a price range I'm comfortable double dipping on. I'll buy it again on Steam if it's Mac/Windows for the same price.

Great, I got it on everything, so the Mac version should hopefully be free because of the Steam share thing.

One million disappointed gamers.
Couldn't be farther from the truth. Everyone I know in real life who played this game after I recommended it to them has uniformly loved it.

There was a physical release. "Shipped or sold?" is a legitimate question.

Mac version is now out on the Mac App Store. It's $10, and it's a perfect port, better than the Cider version someone ported to Mac, as it has no ugly gradient banding all over the place.

Any word on the breakdowns?

Honestly, why can't this stuff come out on OSX day 1?

I feel like the market is there. Limbo would have been great on MAS or iOS

was playing this the other day trying to get the last achievement for completing in one sitting with 5 or less deaths. Had my 6th death at the very very last puzzle, I don't think I'll play this again I've pretty much milked it for all its worth but it was really cool and intriguing game so happy they got there

MS had the one year exclusivity deal for X360. Play Dead is a very small team, so once the exclusivity period was over, they were porting it to other platforms one after another, PS3, then PC and now Mac. The later versions have a very nice extra section added to the game (PSN for sure, not sure about the other two, but I guess they do as well)

Controls needs some improvement, but the game is great anyway. Fantastic puzzle-platformer with beautiful, but simple art style.

Was seriously disappointed with it after all the praise. The beginning is kind of encouraging but the puzzles don't pick up steam, the floatiness is not my cup of tea and the latter setting is kind of bland. Do like the style and atmosphere in general though but glad that I picked it up heavily discounted.
