I think it's more the idea that if Graham's views were as far as to the right as the GOP were willing to go, the country would be an objectively better place. We don't want more Republicans like him because we agree with his ideas, we just want more Republicans like him because he's not completely batshit crazy.

Graham has been talking like a right-leaning Democrat for years, but hasn't done shit else but talk. I like that there's at least some hope there, but I honestly never expect any GOP politician to do the right thing when it comes down to it. For example, I still cannot believe they didn't cornhole the country with the AHCA.

After they didn't do anything post Sandy Hook I don't believe that Republicans have a good bone in their bodies.
