Is it just me or does the art style look very similar to My Hero Academia? This is the first I've heard of this franchise.
Kind of got that vibe as well. The witch at 0:11 instantly reminded me of MHA's frog girl.

Eh, I don't see a western release being that much of a stretch. A western release with a PC version is more unlikely. This seems like something that'll get treated like JoJo does over here. It'll come over with no dub and maybe even be digital only.
In Japan, it looks rather too demanding for Vita. And Unity is one more reason for it to not happen. Maybe Switch, but even then, maybe Bamco ain't so sure about this.
As for a western release, I don't see that happening, but if it did, maybe they'd add an SKU or two.
I hope we get this in the west. I'm a bit hesitant to believe we will, but the only thing making me think we wouldn't is the fact the Ippo game didn't come over. Maybe since it's been a few years it might happen. We got stuff like Saint Seiya, so it might be possible. This also has more of a western presence than Ippo so eh, maybe.
Netflix is doing a English dub of the anime series, its popularity in the west is reason enough to warrant a fully voiced game dub, in my opinion.

Looks ace. Also I know internet hates it but LWA is really good
I have a sneaking suspicion most of the gameplay is going to be on a 2D plane, so I'm not sure it would really be out of reach for the handhelds. Maybe the budget is too low to afford for optimization on other platforms lol.
I think there's a good possibility for a western release, given this is a PS4 game based on a Netflix title and that might draw some more eyes to it. Probably will be a lower key launch, though, so I'd expect digital-only. Maybe they shove out a PC-port, since it's Unity, if they feel a little more optimistic.

But we were supposed to get a Kill la kill game![]()
HOLY SHIT.... Now they need to make a KILL la KILL game after this.
But how can we win the game if we play as Akko. All her stats are -999.
Except determination!
First LWA OVA was released one year before Boku no Hero Academia started to be pulished on Jump.
This game is pretty random and so is the fact it's announced as a PS4 exclusive, it might be released worldwide later on considering the Netflix support.
As for quality ehhh don't expect much out of it, this is your typical Bamco low budget adaptation but it does look quite good on screenshots.
Eh, Vita slowing down on releases seems about right so this being a ps4 exclusive isnt all that strange.
Or they could totally mess it up who can say. Give em a chance before the platinum can do everything shtickThink Platinum would be perfect for this game. But its Bamco. Oh well
Her Yay is off the charts.A believing heart is your magic, of course.
Chances are this ain't gonna be localized at all. Seems to be the fate of all of their anime tie-in games bar the mega popular ones.If Bandai Namco is on this, that gives me high hopes for a PC version later down the line.
Sucy confirmed best girl for this millennium, pack it up guys

Every screenshot has the default "trial version" watermark from Unity on the bottom right.
I'm surprised it's PS4-only given it's running on Unity.

Given Bandai Namco's budgets for properties with smaller audiences, I'm not convinced this will be great. One of the screenshots has a character clipping through a chair lol:
