LittleBigPlanet 3 stream going on right now

This question is kinda OT, but can someone answer it:

I preordered this game from Amazon, because of the cool pre-order bonus they had on that site.

How do you redeem pre-order bonuses from Amazon?

When I preorder from Gamestop, the preorder bonus is a code on the receipt I get.

However, I don't know how this works with Amazon.

It's the same I think. You'll just get a code in the box.

It's not working because it's not released yet. He got it early. And what would you have done before 2.0? That's a daft reason not to buy the game.

Watched a bit (don't want to spoil myself too much) and it does look great indeed. Saw him play a couple of levels and they're so brilliantly designed that I can't wait to dive into the game myself. I just hope the online experience is relatively smooth and I don't run into too many hitches while playing levels with three other people.

You really think Sony would not support a feature they just announced, its more likely that games cannot be share played before the release date, otherwise people would be able to share play betas etc.

I'm trying to stop watching but I can't. This is without doubt the best LBP game so far. It's fantastic!

Sadly nothing would surprise me these days.
I honestly do hope that is the case because I love the previous games and this one looks good so far.
They'll have my money if it works on Tuesday.

You're seriously not going to buy a game because a previously unavailable feature may not be there? Just buy the game and enjoy it for Christ sake.
 
I like the new mechanics. All those little tweaks on top of the existing ones make it look like a fun game to play.

The problem I have, is that I am the only fan of LittleBifPlanet among my friends. It's difficult to get my friends to play this. If SharePlay works with this, I can convince them to try it.

Can we make a "Lost Vikings" style level? where in single player, you have to move all the characters across the level using each of the characters attributes to solve challenges?
 
I'm going to be playing this with a few others around the tv. Anyone know if it's going to be able to give trophies to everyone logged in on the ps4?

Or is it going to be another game which only gives trophies to 1 player even though the ps4 is capable of giving it to all logged in players (as diablo 3 was able to show)?

PS3 owners can use shareplay?

My issue is I'm the only one of my gaming family and friends who owns a PS4 and we all loved playing the past games together. It's a shame. Guess we all wait. (Unless you're saying PS3 owners can shareplay, which I highly doubt, otherwise I'm not sure how I can taunt them wih that)

edit for the inevitable "why wait?": They want the game on next gen and I don't want to play alone, getting burnt out to come back later helping everyone else play. I would have tried convincing them to get last gen if we could play together though =P.
 
Wow...had no idea there was actually a create your own quests tool and a true inventory!

Media blackout for this game has made my hype triple in the last couple days...think im gonna have to go digital for this. I know the usual LBP creator crew here must be going nuts with ideas :D
 
I want to go digital as well, but my lil girl realllly want that plushie. I might just get the digital and buy a plushie else where.
 
I haven't watched anything other than the initial reveal trailer and one from a game jam of some sort. What should I be watch to get me hyped?

I have say I was watching a little girl stream this earlier and it was adorable.

As someone who normally hates being around children, I have to say I was a bit surprised.
 
Looks quite promising with a lot of fun additions. As usual, I'm mostly interested in goofing around with the creator and co-op, but anecdotally the level design does look better than 2 already.
 
This will be my 1st LBP, I'm interested in creators who will stream and teach how to create certain things within LBP.

So who on Gaf will stream and teach how to?

The best LBP community is on LBPCentral so I'd advise you to join, but I'm sure a lot of Gaffers will also offer help.
 
So I've been out of the loop since the first game, but im wondering. Is it possible to make a series of levels that lead straight into the next and have alternate ending paths like donkey kong?

Yes, it's called adventure mode and you have three to use on your create moon. Each Adventure consists of a possible 15 levels. You've also got to remember that levels can now be up to 200 times bigger.

The general hype for the game is scarily low unfortunately, at least as far as I can tell. I think it's probably due to it coming out at the wrong part of the year, amidst a slew of top-selling franchises all fighting for the top spot. Would've benefited from a January release instead, where it'd have been afforded a lot more breathing room.

Maybe it might surprise though and sell well with the casuals. Would imagine there's a fair few parents out looking looking for the right PS4 bundle to give their kids for Christmas.

The game got tv ads an black Friday bundle it will do fine.
