While these are all design elements that I wish were different, there are also a few bugs that will crop up every now and then that I hope will eventually be patched. One is where if you have three objects glued together, and then you detach one of them, the third object will also become detached.
Wut? The Beta ended and only had 4 levels. Of course it was only fun online. The full game has 50 levels.ajvizzgamer101 said:I have the beta... It's only fun if you have online, if not don't buy it. The User created levels are so fun to play!!!! I haven't played the beta in 2 days because I keep getting disconnected or PS3 freezes.

20 main levels. 30 challenge levels.Psychotext said:Could you be a little more specific? I've seen three reviews now that say 20 levels.

he cynic in us can't help but question if it's fair to make large portions off-limits to people without a second controller, however. A separate one-player-friendly way of getting to this content would've been thoughtful though, we're sure Sony's accessories department are plenty happy about this decision.
This is the first game on the PlayStation 3 that truly looks like it could only operate with significant parallel processing, provided by the PS3's Cell architecture. While the 360 could arguably pull off the physics or the engine itself, LittleBigPlanet combines incredible physics processing with stunning 1080p clarity, rich colours, HDR lighting and light bloom, depth of field, enormous scale, particle and refraction effects and a laundry list of lush textures, shades, maps and animated details.

I predict 8.5, focusing on the usual issues:I predict 7.5 from GS.

9.5/10? In my LBP review?DMPrince said:![]()
@ IGN score
IGN Review said:I could go to my Friends list and choose Greg's profile. I could go to his hearted levels, find a level I like, and then view the author's levels. I can then view said author's hearted levels, and see what he likes, and so on and so on. In other words, you should be able to get to Kevin Bacon's profile in six clicks or less.
90/100 might look low. But 9/10 looks better. 4.5/5 looks even better...and 2.7/3 looks even better than thatTormentoso said:90 looks a little low,but is Eurogamer they have rate some good games on PS3 to low,yet slapped 10 on GTA4.

Sorry.
I think GoFreaks page should just be changed to the official and we can update it.
"I couldn't figure out how to create a trigger that only works once. For my rock slide bit I mentioned earlier, I tried to place an emitter (which spawns any object you choose) that would create rocks, and then have it create three of them when I set off my invisible trigger. That worked, as you can set an active maximum number to spawn. But, when I left the trigger, and then went back to it again, another three would fall out. I couldn't get it to work just once, and then never again."
"I wanted to create a trap where you would step on a platform and a proximity trigger would cause the piston to fully extend and then stop at full length (read: the ceiling). But because "fire once" wasn't an option, the player could jump off and the platform would stop moving without reaching the top, or it could hit the top and then come back down part of the way. In either case, it wasn't the (seemingly simple) effect I was going for."

Wurm said:I'm thinking there needs to be 2 separate threads. One a general LBP Official Thread, the other a LBP: GAF User Levels thread, complete with template for showing your shit and a cycling cream of the crop updated 1st/2nd/3rd posts.
I was trying to goofily create a page header a moment ago but can't find any HD screens of the Pod as it is in the Beta, particularly the felt planet, moon and News board..

kittel said:From the 1up.com review:
Answer to this is the permanent switch. MM demonstrates this in their early levels by putting a magnetic sensor above dissolvable material and having the magnetic switch of the corresponding color below. Proximity of the sackboy would disintegrate the dissolvable material, thereby closing the magnetic switch permanently.
This could be done by having the proximity trigger a permanent switch described above. The corresponding magnetic switch would be set directional and the piston non-backwards.
You do control sackboy's jump speed and direction, and also his movement speed. I noticed that within five minutes of playing.Xenon said:9-9.5 seems right for me. Having control over sackboy's jump & movement speed would make it a 10. Even though I enjoyed the beta, I can see how some could be turn off the by the control of sack boy.
