• Hey Guest. Check out your NeoGAF Wrapped 2025 results here!

Loadout is out on PS4! Coop mode launches with it!

They should limit how much you can dive. Everyone's barrel rolling over over the place online.

Well hopefully it hits 60, because visually it's about on par with PvZ:GW, which runs at full framerate on PS4.

Interestingly, one of the devs mentioned they'd look into crossplay among PC-PS4:
we have found that console players are surprisingly competitive with the controller. Mouse players can aim a bit better but controllers can move a bit better.
I don't know if anything ever came from that. It'd be nice to have that option, though.

Hm... I wonder if it's just the movement and shooting, it was consistant but never once felt smooth.

this might be it. the controls/camera feel jerky so that might be whats throwing me off.

Also, this game has absolutely 0 dead zone so slightly drifting sticks are a bit of a nuisance

I thought my DS4 was calibrated perfectly until I played this. drift is now evident in both sticks. might need to ask EOR for a tweak.

It's annoying with my DS4. It's actually driving me nuts.

This is the first game that I actually like the taunts. Something about the animation and detail. Took me a while to figure out how to buy things with in game currency. Also tweaked the FoV and sensitivity and that helped with some problems I was having.

Edit: I do wish it was class based.

Get hyped.

As someone who played a little bit on PC it's actually pretty damn fun on PS4. It's only 30fps though, but it must be locked because I never noticed any framerate drops at all. Textures are a little on the bleh side but the models look great and the animations are VERY smooth.

This is a pretty sweet little game, I could see grinding away at it a little while to unlock some stuff.
Guess I have to learn what the parts do, I just went in and madly fusion'd everything together hoping to make some amazing thing, and it was marginally worse than base stuff even. But if the variance of parts and combos is as big as it seems, you could really go a long time without seeing the same loadout as you, which is cool.
It's fun playing a co-op game again too, even though its just horde mode, I'm not getting murdered by humans anymore!
