I agree somewhat. I got used to the shoulder button setup, and I can see why they did it that way. But I believe control options should ALWAYS be given to the user.

There are times I would've liked to play with just one hand for example, and the analog nub would've been cool for that.

own it, played it. overhyped. Not a great game at all. Neato graphics + control system + superkawaii audio doesn't parlay/fix its rudimentary and somewhat dull core gameplay.

Agreed, thought it was waaaay overhyped. I really like the idea of combining it with Vib Ribbon music style though, that'd be pretty badass.

You know, this actually is kind of a good point. You're not going to get any kind of good answer out of people here though.

And yeah, if this IS a PSN game, which it probably will be, then it's not a big deal. If they sell it on a disc though it's a valid comparison.

It's not a remake. There is no indication--from any of the posters or from the original post-- that this is a remake. It's a new game for PS3 in the Loco Roco franchise.

Still, what's it about? I'll be getting a PSP eventually, but I've never tried it long enough to understand what it was about. Whatever unit was at Circuit City was playing it, the person before me was stuck.

except the difference is that this will be a PSN game for probably no more than 10 bucks, while those DS games cost 50 bucks. thats why.

and basically in Locoroco your the planet and you spin around to get the blobs through puzzles and other little black things that eat them.

You know more about Loco Roco PS3 than we do apparently. Who said that it would be a remake?

I just thought of another awesome feature. On my Audigy, I can choose filters, so the voices in songs change. With the power of Cell they could probably easily add filters onto your music, so that it would seem that Loco Rocos sing your favourite songs.

I must say, I like the game's simple art style. For some reason the little guys reminded me of the blue drop things from Dragon Quest.

It's getting praised for several reasons, including the fact that the gameplay could actually be improved because of tilt, and it's look really nice really big. Since the graphics are simple, they won't look horrendous blown up. It'll also probably be a downloadable title, which will make it even better.
