If there's one game that deserves the SixAxis treatment it's Loco Roco, however the otion would be nice to have.

Yes.

I think its surprising that Sony's putting so much emphasis on non-retail 2D games now. The things that will push systems will be the 3D powerhouses that are easy to find at retail.

I hope they can get the graphic quality up to something like LIttle Big Planet... But also, they should expand the gameplay concept. For example, different types of Loco Rocos have different properties... There can be a metal Loco Roco that is heavier, but has its own uses.

i hope that the visual style remains mostly vectorized and un-shaded --- maybe some drop shadows and simple layering effects stuff ----- i'm mostly hoping they use the PS3's power to do CRAZY ass HD zoom outs, where you can almost see the entire level.

Since when did sales measure the quality of a title?

Oh, I forgot, since Nintendo said only games that sell over "xxx" amount and make the top10 are actually good titles worthy of being hyped for and anything that sells below is trash.


PS. I found Loco Roco to be a terrible game and even made a thread about it. But I know some people liked it...so what the heck, they can go ahead and get themselves hyped for a sequel if they want. It's their tastes.

Am I crazy for wanting PS3 LocoRoco to be on a 3D plane ala Marble Madness/Mercury? I think the concept would work just as well, if not better. It would also add another dimension to the gameplay...literally. Either way, I've only made it a few stages into the game, but I love it. Very cute, and very charming. And yesterday I hooked a few of my students on it. That and Outrun. Viral marketing in schools. PEACE.
