Today I was thinking it's probably a toss-up between this and DoFP for favorite X-film ever. I'm still not sure it's overall better than that movie, though.

I don't know, what movie the critics have seen, but I found it pretty boring, bad pacing and a atrocious villain!
The fight scenes were cool, but everything else, well shit!

- Does this movie have the usual third act problems these movies often have? You know, Deadpool ending in a bit too standard/boring fight at the end after a promising setup, a lot of these superhero movies ending in a 'and now it's time to pummel the CGI end boss monster for a bit'.

- Slightly related: What's the scale of the movie? Another bad-guy-threatening-to-destory-the-entire-world plot or something a bit more personal, on a smaller scale? Hoping for the latter.
