Sounds good. Hopefully both this and a US release of Days of Memories happens soon.

I won't hold my breath though because well...it's SNKUSA...and they're hopeless.
 
It got the equivalent of a TEEN rating? Seriously? No, no, NO, I'm still not touching this game.

I don't hope so, unfortunately. I don't want SNK to veer off its fighter heritage into these kinds of stuff :( Despite all my heralding of Days as the next best thing coming, but I can't really shake off the feeling that Days is just a KOF cash-in of jaded memories and times long gone past.

If these outsell and out-profit the KOF series then SNK will really be dead.

Hey,if you want them to stay alive then it's the only choice for them to create new IP's. They can't depend on KOF and Metal Slug forever where 2D is getting less popular..not even their Maximum impact series could help them much.

Agree with that - my wish is that success in these kinds of games would give SNK the opportunity to do another great fighting game (MOTW cough) or a good new IP :)

On the other hand, I kind of feel that success in Doki Doki would induce SNK to make even more Doki Doki :|

It probably isn't helping that they're re-releasing all of them every month now.
 
Why would they ever translate the webpage into English in the first place? Do they think it has a chance of coming out outside Japan or something?

Or maybe it'll contain an English translation on the cart (zomg)

The title of this thread refers to the game as a "loli rape sim", but that's pretty inaccurate. If this was being marketed as an 18+ only "adult" game it would be very much in the "tame" sector of the market. The only thing that's strange about it in Japan is the fact that it's on the DS (Nintendo platforms not being notable for "adult" content - and no, I don't mean that in a "not teh kiddie" kind of way either). There are places that sell telephone-directory-sized manga with content a lot "worse" than this (Comic Lo for example).

Comic LO is paltry in size compared to Comic Megastore H. That's more of a phone book sized manga. Comic Aun and RIN are comparable to LO in terms of size.
