ITT people are shocked someone would want to try and solve a minor problem since they broke their old thing and have to buy a new one anyway. My favorite things from this thread so far:
- People not understanding that some people use headphones not for game immersion but to avoid forcing everyone in their house to listen to game sounds.
- People not understanding how someone could possibly shower, towel dry their hair, have it still be partially damp and place a headset on their head. Bonus: people being unable to imagine a single situation where you come home from work, shower and game, but still possibly leave the house later and want your hair to look ok.
- People not understanding that it is possible to find in-ear headphones uncomfortable, or just being skeeved out by placing something in their ear.
To be fair, this might've gone better if OP had mentioned ear buds were a no go from the beginning, but this really isn't that shocking of a question that the number of replies not addressing OP's question but instead expressing shock that this could be an issue would have you assume.
