Juliette is hotter than Kate this season.
Truth. Probably last season too.

I think I have an issue with this last episode.

Whenever Daniel told Desmond (in the past) to go meet his mother, Desmond (in the future) "remembered" this while in bed, "current time" I suppose.

So even though Desmond was in the past, imagine for a moment he was on a current line of realizing time as Desmond. Does that make sense? I can explain it better if need be.

So when he talked to Desmond in the past, Desmond in the future realized this at the same moment.

However, here is what's different about this episode. Daniel's mother has known she would kill Daniel in the past all along, even before Daniel encountered her in the past.

I think that's wrong and doesn't fit with what they've already established, using the thing with Desmond for an example.

I've had little issues like this with the writing for the past few episodes. I think they are getting sloppy.

Help me realize differently if you think I'm wrong.

They've said several times that Desmond's different. He's special somehow.

I guess making it in showbiz requires you to do some pretty sad stuff.
And I'm off to rent Gia.

Farady...

:(

Though I had a feeling he would buy it at the end. The way Eloise acts towards him in the last 30 minutes, there was a sense of regret and she seemed unsettled. As far as Widmore being his father, I had a feeling... something in the back of my mind made me wonder if he and Elle were lovers, seeing how they were the ones in charge of the Hostiles for a while.

I've also been thinking about that "What lies in the shadow of the statue" (or something like that) group. They can't be with Widmore, since the guy in the van advised against Miles joining him. They can't be with Ben, since they would have aided him and Sun, instead Ben shot Cesar leaving the survivors in a state of WTF. Are they Hostiles that reside off the island, much like Tom (Mr. Friendly), how he greeted Michael in the alley and told him to get back to the island?

Well... I guess that'll all be explained
Could the well be what lies in the shadow... since the time traveling gang were behind it when Locke went down the well to the donkey wheel
. Anywho...

Farady...

Wow, how old is that phone sex ad, it doesn't look too long ago! :lol

I think they actually still air it. I caught it about a month ago during some late night show. I had to do a triple-take, and couldn't believe that was Kate. Figured it was done before Lost ever started.

I'll always remember Eko for making The Mummy 2 almost bearable

Oh, and Terry O' Quinn in Old School. Can't believe that wasn't on there
I've nearly forgotten everything he's done, other than LOST!:lol

They didn't show it, but Evangeline Lilly was also a tech-gadget girl on Electric Playground. You know the parts where they review some new shitty 3rd party controller and have some chick displaying it like she's a Barker's beauty. I find that infinitely more embarrasing than appearing in a "singles" ad.

7 years or something

Lost is her first speaking role, she did slum around as an actress/model for a couple years before Lost.
yeah I know, I'm saying that commercial is about 7 years old!

Yeah, I've seen that Evangeline Lilly phone sex commercial recently.

I'd love to see her face if/when she sees it on TV nowadays. :lol :lol :lol

I'm pretty sure one of the tonight show hosts, embarrassed her with it in an interview, can't remember with one!

In a magazine interview, she said she cried when she first saw the commercial for herself on TV. Low point in her life, acting-wise.

But by the time of that Letterman interview, a couple years had already passed so she could pretty much laugh it off at that point. Still pretty embarrassing though. :lol

I wouldn't let David Letterman touch me in the mouth.

Even if I was that hot.

Yeah, I remember reading that the company still owns the rights to her likeness, and still use her to promote themselves. She must have thought it was a great deal at the time.

Oh man, that was great. She is too hot. Really one of the most beautiful women in the world.

Sad to hear she cried though :/.

My Evy should never cry :(.

They (yes, they) need to get working on selective memory erasing. I'd just erase LOST, One Piece, FNL, etc etc (basically all of my favorite shows) over and over so I could watch them fresh all the time.

I'd only keep memories of my love for the show to force my self to keep watching.

Yeah me either, I actually don't like Letterman, most unfunny tonight show host there is!

Kate spent far too much time in an overall this episode. And by far too much time, I mean all of it.

My wife didn't agree.

wait!! I know why faraday can't be dead, the notebook says "if anything goes wrong Desmond Hume is my constant" and we all know Desmond: awesome.
naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw he'sreallydeaddude.

my main reason for doubting Faraday's death:

unlike charlotte, he's on that journey for a reason, he's there to perform some role, he has a gift which has to be used and he's been groomed to do it by mother and father or years. I don't think his purpose was simply to go back in time and deliver a few messages.

besides there's a surgeon in the bushes.

"As soon as ‘Lost’ is done, hopefully we’ll begin tackling [Dark Tower].” - J.J. Abrams and Lindelof. GET STOKED http://foxyurl.com/1a1

Why are they trying to make it into a movie instead of a TV series? Would that even work? I've only read the first book thus far but it seems like there would be a lot of content left out if they adapted the entire series into multiple films.

IIRC, they haven't discussed whether it'll be a show or a movie.

Though, do Lindelof/Abrams/Cuse really want to dedicate a bunch of years to run another complex serialized show like LOST?

Edit: I havent read any DT BTW. They're sitting on my shelf.

Why didn't they show him die though?

He was still alive when they cut away.

I don't see how he could have survived that, but this is Lost and if they wanted to they could have showed the moment of death like they do for everyone else.

I actually interpreted it as the life draining from him. You could see it in his eyes.

And,
it's been confirmed by Lindelcuse
.

If Dark Tower was a TV show it'd just get cancelled anyway.

haha, your probably right. The first book started out really weird but though it got way better towards the end. I'm sure Showtime would give it a shot since they're probably going to want something to combat HBO's "A Song of Ice and Fire" (and no Tudors doesn't count).

Abrams hasn't dedicated much time to Lost at all. He wasn't even really around for even a full year. He just used his name power to help get the show launched for Lindelof.

Showtime would give it a shot because they're fucking ballers in comparison to HBO these days.

And yea, this pretty much would have to be a premium channel show, because it's too weird for network and cable.
