For starters, I don't think that you buying a 360 for a multiplatform game is a problem for people. No one is waiting in your local retail store with a shotgun waiting to jump you, if you think the experience is worth the 199/299 price tag I say go for it. And also, the original point of your thread was to ask us whether you're insane or not for wanting a new Xbox for MW2, (and I think Gaf gave its opinion). Yes, the textures for the 360 is better. But the PS3 version is NO WHERE near as bad as that screenshot. If you honestly are going to buy a 360 + 360 version of MW2 over TEXTURES you are official fucking insane and should go into a facility with padded walls until you get over yourself.
IN MOTION both console versions are FUCKING IDENTICAL. In play, in looks. In nearly everything. Yes, there are some minor quibbles between the versions. BUT THEY ARE IDENTICAL.
Get the fuck over yourself and just buy the goddamn PS3 version. Jesus.
