I am guessing he means that the period has gone by for the game to become free, like was promised… and he also means that loads of other great games are coming out in the next few weeks, mainly halo 3, and many people may move on from play GOW as it is basically the same audience that for both games.

Go into ranked, always busy with game rooms of many choices. Well I still play it if you are stuck for someone to play with.

Same, I hate the way gears handles mp lag but if a map is free i'll at least play a few rounds and see if it was worth the money etc.
