It's wonderful how much effort goes in the openings, endings and the songs. This show is just brimming with love and creativity. It's fantastic.

Wagstaff School news is my favorite episode because of Gene walking around in a Bob costume and mimicking him. It absolutely slays me every time.

"You're my family and I love you. But you're terrible, you're all terrible."

Freaking love this show. I sort of ignored it at first, but I watched a couple of episodes recently, and now I'm hooked. It helps ease the pain of not having new episodes of Futurama or the Cleveland Show (yes, I am one of its apparently few fans. By far McFarland's best show)

This is the only animated series where I like all the characters from the main family, most shows have thta one kid or parent that gets on my nerves but in this show I love em all.
Also, Teddy needs more love, that scene when he thought Bob's name was Bob Burger is one of my favourites.

I absolutely love this show, all the characters are great. This show made me want to actually watch Archer just to hear Bob's voice

Tina's birthday is my favorite episode

Such a great show, the voice cast is so perfect and comical. I love how it's more King of the Hill in that it's grounded in reality as opposed to the other cartoons out there.
My least favorite episode is probably the one that felt the least grounded: when the family went on a cruise because Bob was offered to a job cooking. It became so over the top ridiculous, even compared to other episodes such as the crazy turkeys.

I really do enjoy it. The first season is reminds me of the first season of the Simpsons, but not as enjoyable. Season two is when they become more comfortable and since the third season the show has hit its stride.
Here is a special treat for new watchers.

A wonderful live read (of the Thanksgiving episode).

It also contains my favorite Gene line. "Who did this and can I apprentice with you."
Gene's voice actor looks like Gene!

Have to agree with you here. The cruise episode wasn't horrible or anything, but the show shines when the stories are more grounded. Hard to say what is my favorite episode, maybe the halloween episode where the kids go trickortreat the island with rich people. Gene as Queen Latifah was hillarious.

Yeah that trick or treating episode was good. Halloween episodes seem to always be, especially when they were trapped in the box fort.

My favorite episode this season has to be the first with the duel musical plays. Die Hard the musical was hilarious.

The only thing about the show is that sometimes the characters design weirds me out.

They have no teeth, no structure in their mouths. They look like Muppets. Teddy especially looks and sounds like a Muppet (Teddy is my favorite secondary character).

Or if not a Muppet, they look like earthworms mutated to look human with their strangely depth-less wrinkles in their faces, necks, etc.

EDIT: Oh!

AV Club: Are the Muppets a design influence on the characters of Bob’s Burgers?
Loren Bouchard: Absolutely. That underbite, that big floppy chin—in general, that sense that you could put your hand up inside their heads and move their mouths. Muppets: big influence on a lot of aspects of this, big influence on the music. That sort of lightheartedness with which they would do musical numbers on The Muppet Show and in the movies and just the sort of looseness—the way they approached music and comedy really appeals and feels important somehow.

I really like this show, I'm about halfway through season 3. Least favorite episode is probably the one with the cruise, it just gets too ridiculous for me to be funny.

Also I love this part : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmy9CTn6xMs

The fucking Tori Amos thing had me and my wife cracking up out loud.

I love each of the children because they all remind me of me.

Tina is a daydreamer who's boy-crazy. Check.
Louise is a misanthrope with a hidden softie side. Check.
Gene is the guy who will still be laughing at fart jokes when he's 80. Check.

And the fact that they include a musical interlude in almost every episode? Solid gold. In an odd way, it reminds me of how Mel Brooks liked to do musical bits in the middle of his comedies.

Favorite episodes are still:
Sheesh! Cab, Bob?
The Belchies
Art Crawl

Great, now I'm in the mood to re-watch it all over again. I'm surprised and happy that the show has made it this long, to be honest. Any more is a welcome bonus.

My favorite is Burgerboss. Nothing like watching Bob pop too many painkillers, play video games at an arcade, and assault children.

Top Five So Far (don't know titles of all of them):

1) "Shesh, Cab Bob?" - the fucking prostitutes - haha
2) "Burgerboss" - I used to hate Aziz until I saw this and started Parks and Rec. last night
3) "Crawl Space" - *sigh* I wish - and his MIL is hilariously shitty
4) "Spagetti Westerns and Meatballs
5) "Bob Day Afternoon" - Louise talking shit to the criminal
6) "Human Flesh"
7) "Sexy Dance Fighting"
8) "Bad Tina" - erotic friend fiction!
9) "Tinaranasaurus Wrecks" - like the gif above, the fucking shot of her slowly hitting the car - I was laughing through the entire ordeal. Tina's groans are fantastic.
10) "Food Truckin" - between the "Tori Amos" and the weird frenemies relationship that's suddenly built between Bob and the documentarian Randy and their back and forths...

(I just finished the nude beach episode, so I'm not completely done)

These still crack me up. Especially the first one - "Tina".

As for the second, I can't believe they got away with that on television.

Okay, I have to ask.

Jimmy Jr. and his weirdly aggressively attached, aggressively touching thug friend.

They're going to have a Blue is the Warmest Color like moment when they're 16 aren't they?

Such a fantastic show. If King of the Hill was an uncanny portrait of the small town life of most of my extended family, Bob's Burgers is closer to a similarly sincere portrait of my actual childhood

I love this show...and had my mind blown that linda was voiced by a guy.

Really like how regular sized rudy looks almost exactly like bobby lol.

My friend's little sister tried to make me watch this show once and I hated it.
I gave it a chance later on though, and I've watched all the episodes on Netflix at least ten times each...

The episode where Tina gets to take the place of the popular girl at her birthday party is one of the highlights for me, just because of what an excellent inversion it is. The show brings enough depth to each character to keep them from being one note in general, but this one in particular is fantastic because of how far it pushes both Tina's selfish side and Louise's kind side.
