LTTP Metal Gear Rising

A phenomenal game, feels so perfect to control. I will never doubt how great 60fps feels, and the OST truly my favourite of the year. Really enhanced the boss fights with my favourite being red sun over paradise.

Between this game, Guacamelee and TLOU I seriously don't think I can choose which game is better. They all brought epic experiences to table. This gen is truly going out with a fucking BANG!

Oh, and fuck mastiffs.

That fucking room.

You can probably guess as much by looking at my avatar, but I absolutely loved the game.

It's the platinum game I've played the most (~100 hours in total) and I could see myself coming back for more. It's just so fun to play, the OST is incredible and the boss fights (especially Armstrong) are amazing.

Good to see you loved the game OP. I finished the game on all difficulities and had a blast. This with Wonderful 101 are the best games this year, with W101 being the better game.

Gonna double dip on the PC release as soon as it is out.

I liked and didn't like this game at the same time.

Thought the story was terrible, Riden does a terrible job at being a badass. Felt like it was just lame when he was getting all emotional over killing the soldiers. Always have felt like "badass" Riden voice was try-hard. Environments were bland and uninspiring. DMC4 had better looking levels, and that game 5 years older. Character designs was crazy, but sometimes in a bad way (Really, does Riden need high heels?) and combat could of been better. It takes way to long to kill some enemies especially considering how strong Riden is sposto be, and with no style ranking or reason to switch things up it can quickly become spamfest of using the strongest moves until you're able to "cut". Boss battle near the end was lame too. Refighing all of the older bosses felt like a cop-out of what could've been a cool new boss.

However, I loved this game at the same time. Combat was very satisfying despite it feeling a little repetitive at times, and is one of the best action games of recent memory. Loved the way the music progressed on boss fights too. And holy shit was armstrong hard.

When i played this game, i didnt have too many expectations about after finishing it i walked away suprised at how much i enjoyed it.

Almost time for a replay very soon.

havent played wonderful 101,but for me its the GOTY.

the soundtrack blew my balls off.

best soundtrack since anarchy reigns... and that game again is also from platinum games.

its amazing what the can pull off.
personally i loved the all the bossfights. there is nothing more epic than stepping into those battlefields... you could always see, that there will be a bossfight but still felt so satisfying to get his ass kicked...

brutally good game.
oh, and i also hope there will be a sequel with the fox engine on next-gen. this time please locked 60fps and maybe a longer game... 7,5h for playing through that game is not enough (i replayed the game 3 times)

Salvaged Raiden's character after MGS4 did its best to ruin him. Awesome Samurai-like offence and defence mechanics. Fun encounter variety. Exciting, challenging boss fights. Pumping soundtrack. Good video game.

Metal Gear Rising is rough around the edges but it's incredibly fun to play. I can go back to that game anytime and instantly have a good time. Some of the bosses are boring on replays though, too much downtime during the Monsoon fight for instance.

There's so much that can be improved but the exciting thing is that even in it's current flawed state it's one of the most kickass action games out there. I really really want a sequel!
