It is the greatest experience of all times only Kojima could deliver such master work Kojima da god everyone knows this.
I said...Look, behind you.
Soo good the first time.
You're confusedOk got to the end. Wow. Anyone keep playing after the end? There's still kinda more.
Unless I'm getting confused.
You're confused
Well the "kill screen" was red the second time. I also don't remember the radio having the news story about the murders the first time.
You dying doesnt equal youre done. Actually, it never means that.
I don't mean dying. I mean the glitch screen. Changed colour. The one with all the text.
You finish the game when you see a trailer for Silent Hills.I don't mean dying. I mean the glitch screen. Changed colour. The one with all the text.

There was some really great stuff in it, but the frustration of trying to figure out what to do in order to progress a couple of times killed the tension. Walking back and forth in the same hallway while trying to examine everything, over and over again, is the opposite of scary.
Yeah, this is usually my only issue with these types of games (also the Subject 16 puzzles in AssCreed 2 and Bro), sometimes the logic in figuring them out is so obtuse..
The fact that the puzzles are so badly designed that you have to read a faq or watch a walkthrough ruined the whole game
Yes, Kojima really used the trope to the letter!Wow, this thread is timely, just played it myself last night. Holy hell is it fucked up. In a good way. I'm usually pretty good with horror, but man the, I just about Noped The Fuck Out.little girl shrieking in the bloody refrigerator

Between this and starting The Last of Us remastered, I am very glad to have upgraded into the current gen, these games look gorgeous.
Patrick Klepek said, in your first go around the hallway,Is this true? I really want to fire it up and see it.you can see something leering down over you in the second floor balcony.

One of the creepiest bits for me. I always find eerie moments and an implied sense of threat worse than jump scares and actual attacks.In-game it's like 10 times creepier.
Thanks for sharing!Any fans should watch this 3 part deep analysis, I was blown away by how much was actually going on behind the scenes.

30 mins or so but will give you a whole new perspective of the game.
Oh man, this got me last night. I had my headphones on, and I actually heard the footsteps coming from above me, so I walked down, turned around and looked up just in time to see her receding into the darkness.
Nope.
People need to understand that this wasn't supposed to be a game that people could easily complete on their own. It was a teaser meant to generate discussion and hype for the game. This is like complaining that one person couldn't solve an ARG on their own. The puzzles accomplished their purpose, to generate buzz. The fact that the puzzles are so badly designed that you have to read a faq or watch a walkthrough ruined the whole game
