If anyone ever randomly tells you Corn and Cotton are indigenous to North America, shoot to kill.
I thought corn was indigenous to North America? Or do you mean because it was possibly hybridized or something?

Because they're indigenous to Planet Canada?
And Dax - PUT IT AWAY!
Even if friendly, I wouldn't want it in my head ;_;
You wouldn't want to be blended with it???
To be fair, Corn isn't supposed to exist. Humans did make it, I believe in Mexico some 10.000 years ago. Pretty crafty. Corn doesn't exist anywhere naturally, it's always cultivated and maintained by humans. So, while it was created in America, it isn't indigenous anywhere.
*Random history lesson of the week.Don't even know why I know or where I learned this.
So hypothetically, would anyone here want to be a Tok'ra?
I think I would do it, not getting sick sounds very nice, and the space adventures would be more exciting than what I'm doing now.

If by space adventures you mean sitting in an underground cave till a systemlord bombs you out of it then probably not.

I would work undercover in ba'als ranks. What a life that would be.
Forever in a Day
This is going to be one of those good episodes ruined by a reset button ending, isn't it...
Edit: hey, they really killed her. Good on them. Would have liked to see the resentment at Teal'c take a bit longer to resolve, but still a good episode.
So SG1 gets MacGuyver, the smartest guy there, the smartest woman there, and Teal'c.... What do the other teams get?
The other teams had the people that die and.don't come back to life repeatedly

Also, I acknowledge series 9 and 10. Different, but excellent.
I just wanted to chime in that my favourite episode concept out of all series was the one with P3W-451.
A cursory google search will suffice, but I won't post spoilers for the benefit of others.

Red shirts, and at one point Adam Baldwin.

It's not called Stargate Not-SG1.So SG1 gets MacGuyver, the smartest guy there, the smartest woman there, and Teal'c.... What do the other teams get?
...really ugly.
It was a good two parter, and I will admit, Apophis' escape was kind of cool. Nice (proper) introduction to Apophis.
It had dawned on me that all the Goa'uld spacecraft are really, really ugly...
...really ugly.
With a lot of BOOM BOOM BOOM ratatatatatatatatatatat *ching* *ching* *ching* ratatatatatatatatatatataThe S3 finale will introduce a new enemy that I think you'll enjoy.
Yeah I know. None of the ship designs are that great until S8 IMO.
Earth ships are pretty badass.
303 looks terrible IMO.
304 is amazing, though.
Babylon 5 Earth ships>Stargate SG-1 Earth ships.

Not with those rotating sections they're not.

So what's your overall opinion of the series so far?
I think it's due to being spoiled by Star Trek. Star Trek really has never had a problem with good looking ships, even with the bad shows.
Not with those rotating sections they're not.
Tough call. 303 is ugly as sin, but then again so are a lot of B5 ships. And dat early 90's CGI...
See, I don't at all like the saucer design on Federation ships. Even later ones like Voyager just look "ehhh" to me.
Win.

Best antagonists. When I re-watched the series a few years back I was surprised by how late they get introduced. They're very deeply integrated into the series especially later on. Although it does make sense - they're the first major antagonist that aren't based in part on the movie.
