Was looking through the Stargate wiki for the name of the guy who played the archeologist and laughed my ass off that he's never seen or mentioned again.

The Borg weren't half as ruined as the Replicators. They were nerfed a bit too much in Voyager, but they were still basically the same and still cool. Human form replicators completely ruined what was cool about them.

Borg Queen was awesome. In First Contact anyway. Why the hate? She was one of many things that made First Contact amazing. Kinda crappy in Voyager, but I was definitely pleased they brought back the original Borg Queen back for the finale.

Like human form replicators, it turns an anonymous collective into something with a centralized power structure, and puts a humanoid face and mind to a faceless, mindless enemy. Essentially, it's the antithesis of what the Borg/Replicators actually are.
