Lucas revealed for Super Smash Bros

Plusle and Minun can be easily just be alt character costumes for Pichu. It'd be an easy way to rep two under represented generations in one easy to make character. No need to outright replace Pichu like Young Link, the game supports entire characters as costumes.

In my vote for Pichu I even mentioned this.

Since they went through fhe trouble of adding titles and voice clips for all Koopalings and Alph, is if reasonable to hope that we could double up on Mother 3 content and get "Claus" too?

I'd rather have Ninten for Ness alt than any secondary Mother character. Ninten would be pointless on his own, but as a Ness alt it would mean we'd have all three main protagonists.

The difference though is that there's already a Claus color scheme. He just needs a different voice + announcer voice clip.

I couldn't agree more! All they need to do is switch the direction of his hair and they're good to go.

I want Pichu back but I've accepted it probably won't ever happen.

At this point I'd like to see Ice Climbers, Wolf and Snake come back, and then five new characters.

I actually mained Pichu in Melee. It felt like a double challenge mode kinda, with Pichu being the easiest to smack away while also damaging himself everytime he used a damaging attack, so winning out against many friends and family with Pichu was pretty awesome.

Despite my fondness for the novelty of Pichu, I'd much rather have Wolf or Snake return. Wolf is more of a reference and homage to Fox's moveset but is too fundamentally different to really be considered a clone. I wish they'd drive that point home by giving him a completely different, non-Landmaster FS.

And I'm still disappointed they didn't give the one who prefers the air an Airwing Airstrike or something. I hate trying to kill with the Landmaster. But since Falco got suck with the Landmaster again, perhaps Wolf can have a Wolfen Airstrike. If they did that, he'd hardly be considered a clone even on a Luigi level.

But I digress from Lucas. Having never played any Mother game nor ever really played Ness or Lucas, I can't say much more about him other than being happy with so many others ecstatic over his return.

I really hope Lucas retains the old PK Starstorm.

I don't foresee them changing his FS simply because they would have to record new lines for a different move. (Not like Lani Minella wouldn't do it--she's in practically everything, including Sm4sh as some of the Koopalings.)

I think he meant Brawl Starstorm as opposed to the new version Ness got in Smash 4. I like the Smash 4 version better though.
