Can we not.

Please no more of this.

So goddamned stupid. This scene alone makes me never want to see this.

Lucy became a USB drive at the end of the first movie. I better wait for the digital release to enjoy the second movie. I don't like going to the theater drugged.

3 Days to Kill is a much better and very fun action movie written by Besson that has a lot of his style to it. Look that up instead of Lucy.

They can do things with a sequel, as the drugs can still be out there and Lucy gave humanity all the knowledge of the universe.

It was a pretty movie with a neat but stupid premise. They just needed to offer something to counter her god mode powers.

It should be 110% so the tagline can be some variant on "Up to Eleven".

Just make it an over-the-top dumb action movie because the first movie was exceedingly stupid on accident.

I miss the old days when science fiction movies had to be verified as accurate by professionals

They should do a sequel to a much superior film, Limitless.

The "thinking man's" Lucy

I hope for a sequel, watching this a second time reveals so much. I think my fav part is he is trying to (ending interpretation)
bring the book he wrote to occur in the real world.

My parents love that movie and made me and my special lady friend watch it. The two of us had to drink an obnoxious amount of wine to put up with the obnoxiousness of the movie. We ended up cracking wise and laughing out loud at some of the scenes and it was awkward with my folks.

If we're forced to watch a sequel, we'll end up dropping acid and mocking the movie outright and my Dad will stab me.

The first half of Lucy was fun, but the more her brain got closer to 100%, the dumber it got.

Movie made like 400 millions worldwide, of course there's going to be a sequel. The only good thing about it is that it's success might make female led action movies seem less of a risk to studios.

Wait I dont understand...

...

How is it explained that using your brain lets you control time?

It really should have been a magical remote control and the movie would be great. Or it could just be like Butterfly Effect and not have a reason, super awesome.

I enjoyed Lucy. I put it up there with movies like Salt and Wanted. Good over the top mindless fun.

Some of you guys act like they're doing a keynote at a science convention. Babyraging all over the place.

Lucy was an enjoyable clusterfuck of half-assed sci-fi & enjoyable cinematography. I'd pay to watch a sequel where she comes back as a sort of modern deity, forcing a shift on humanity's place in the universe.

Or IDK, Kate Mara gets a hit of the same drug and it's just the first movie again.

People get too worked up about the bad science of the first movie, it's a fun and a solid 3/5 star movie. I'm interested to see where they go with the sequel.

One of the worst movies I've seen in my life. I can't believe people dumb enough exist to like that movie, let alone a sequel.

It'll be just like Heroes S2, Lucy will explode in the sky like diamonds and then lose her powers and be in Ireland for six months and participate in IPod robberies before going 'eh' and forgetting she was ever in Ireland.

I really hated this movie. I was actually gonna make a thread after I saw it of how badly put together this film was. Knowing this is getting a sequel actually is pretty upsetting. I don't even understand how they could considering
Lucy pretty evolved into not having a body
. I don't want more Animal Planet footage. I don't want more monotone dialogue or stupidly thought out action sequences.
