Lunch stolen from break room for the third time

3 times in past week and half I've had my lunch stolen from the break room fridge. This is stuff I cooked myself not pre packaged. Tonight was the last straw. It was in a 3 hour Window I looked at the footage (yes we have cams in the break rooms)
Saw the person but didn't know them, luckily a Co worker told me about a person he saw around the time so now I know who the thriving bastard is. Complaints being lodged with security and HR in the morning.
 
Buy some ex-lax chocolate tonight. Discard wrapper. Put it in your lunchbag.

Put a cockroach somewhere in your lunch where it won't be seen until they've started eating, like in the middle of a sandwich or the bottom of a salad.

I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you, but I'm glad you know who it is. Every company I've worked for has a zero tolerance policy for this shit, and if yours is similar, that person will find themselves out of a job.
 
Who would be stupid enough to even steal it if there were cameras in there? They will surely be fired and given a bad recommendation, and it's too bad the punishment can't extend beyond that because I'd be fuming.
 
As far as sabotaging your food, laxative is easily the best choice. That way you'll get an idea who's taking it, if they're stupid enough to actually eat it more than twice.

This could be a test by someone though. Don't go overboard.
 
Pee in your food. That way if anyone steals it they'll be eating your pee. And if they don't...well, there's always next time.
 
This could lead to some hilarity OP. Shouldn't have gotten any authorities involved if you remembered GAF's entertainment reigns above all formal responsibilities.
 
Leave a note in the bottom of your lunchbox stating you put everything in you into making this lunch and hope they enjoy the food.

Let them stew on the thought of what that means

Also laxatives.

Your probably right. Op this might be a test and the guy may be a wizard or a genie testing you to see if you are worthy.
 
Who does this? What kind of thing is it? Kleptomania? An eating disorder? Sociopathic behavior? Simple theft? I can't fathom doing it three times in a row.
 
My manager told me a funny story about the time this used to happen to him. He used to bring in the tinned bangers and mash for lunch and every other day - without fail - he'd open his lunch, go to get some utensils, and some fuck would steal one of his tins. Eventually he got so pissed off that one day he opened one tin at home and dropped a deuce in it replacing the sausage, he covered it in the mash, and left it open where always does. It was stolen once again. No one actually admitted to doing it, but no one stole lunches anymore after that day.
 
Write this note and put it in your lunchbox:

I know what you've been doing. I'm looking at you right now. If you don't follow my instructions, you die. If you look up, you die. Now yell "this whole company is a shit show and management can suck my dirty ol' cock" at the top of your lungs."

Or don't. I'm just spitballing ideas here.

Opportinity and the low odds of beeing caught. Some people are just dicks and don't want to bother with preparing their food in advance.

ultimate laziness is when you're willing to steal someone else's lunch just so you can avoid making anything at home.

in a way, it's almost admirable.
 
That's pretty fucked up. I would say to start messing with him by leaving a message in your next lunch, but you gotta put a stop to that shit!
 
Leave message in your lunchbox: "I'm going to HR with the footage in one week. You have until then to turn yourself in."

Turn them in the next day anyway.
 
Yeah, you know what? I'm not going to bother putting my feces or a cockroach or urine or poison into my lunch to punish a jerk.

The rest of you can have a great time collecting your bowel movements as an object lesson.
 
Rather than laxatives, get the most outlandishly,stupidly-hot chilli sauce you can find, stir a generous portion thru the food (so it can't be seen). Then place the lunch in the fridge as usual and see what happens.

You're doing the right thing, OP. If you did something nasty to your lunch, the person would still work there, and have it out for you. You'd constantly be checking your food and area for fecal matter. Last thing you want at work is an enemy waiting to take revenge.

Hopefully they get fired. If they are let off with a warning, they may still be out to get you for trying to get them fired. You'll have to take matters into your own hands, but don't do it at work. Find out where they live, shit in a bag, leave it on their doorstep, pour gasoline everywhere, and light their house up.
 
Tomorrow rub your dick in your sandwich and take a photo of it. Then after he eats it, the next day put that photo in the lunchbox with a note "YOU ATE PENIS".

But seriously, going to HR or management is the best action. I doubt he gets fired for something like this but he should get a formal warning and stop doing this.
