Vast array of weaponary show and fired there. Almost half from WWII era.
The american flags are kind of redundant. Where else on the planet would you see a gathering like this.
 
Friend has one and I shot it very recently.

The Aperture sights are very good, the kick isn't that bad and it's very easy to load clips. Surprisingly the sound the gun generates isn't too intimidating, it's easy to get used to after firing or listening to a clip being dispersed.

I've shot the M1 Garand a few times now, it's always a treat. One of the times I shot it I forgot it was semi automatic, I thought it had a bolt action.
 
How is the kick compared to something like a 270? I've only ever shot a 270 or 7mm magnum (comparable to a 308 Lapua, I hear).

How heavy is it? My Diana 52 pellet gun is 8 lbs...can't imagine any rifle being much heavier than that. (edit: wikipedia says 9.5lbs...damn)
