I cant seem to get online and its really starting to get to me. Ive tried connecting a million and one times (trying as we speak) and I never make it past the "Connecting to EA Servers" screen. it just says "Connection was lost. Wanna reconnect" and if i choose yes, it does the same thing. I can browse wit my opera browser fine and i did the wii system update so i know my connection is fine.

Any ideas? Should I return it and get a new one?

dam 81 views and no replies. i got a new copy but same thing. my opera browser and downloadin vc games work so im not understanding. cud it be firewall settings or somethin?

EA is working on it, that could be the problem.

If you can, change the channel on your router. It usually defaults to channel 1 or 6, try channel 11.

I too recommend this. My brother in law saw super slow download speeds on Wii Shop Channel and the internet channel, and when he tried to get online for Madden, it would do the same thing you described. He switched his Linksys router wireless router channel from 6 to 11 and it works perfectly now. When we play each other, we don't even get as much lag as I've had in some other games I've played.

I got this problem with burnout 3 for the xbox. 6 people would join the lobby and then 'you were disconnected' it became frustrating and EA never ever fixed it. Don't buy online EA games, they don't work.
