The decision to make a black and white(and red) game was awesome!
I'm not sure about that. I'm having some trouble recognizing things in those graphics. Where are object outlines, what's background, what's interactive, what's an enemy, that sort of thing. Could well just be me. Maybe it's easier in motion.

^ My exact thoughts. Hope it looks easier to see in motion too.

can't wait. wonder what will happen if people can't see the color red ;o
I think they still distinguish it from shades of black, they just can't tell red from some other colours. I admit that I may be completely wrong.

Yes, as much as I think it's a cool style, it's not easy on the eyes (at least in pics). I don't even notice any shades of the black and white - it's all either a solid black or white... or red.

This looks so badass in frozen screens. Like I would be happy reading a comic book made using this game's lighting and assets.

It's definitely much better in motion.

I'm sure they're building the game around the visual style, it's not like they're making a full-colored game and then draining all the colors out later so nothing works.

Stylistically it looks good... but these screeshots look too busy for that style, especially the first one.
In a static image maybe. I don't think it will be a problem when the characters are in motion, and the trailers tend to back that up.

you have to see it un motion! they said they've worked hard so everything is noticeable.

The in-game demostration proved that :D

Looks like Sin City

Fixed, as much as I love NMH the attention to detail in this one is amazing, this visual style is great and I hope (but doubt) that PG will get the recognition they deserve sales-wise for this.

It does look a bit busy in the screenshots, with the clearly defined black and white used for every object/building/model - but we've seen how great it looks in videos - and at this point I basically know it'll be an awesome game to experience. :D

Utterly amazing. Clover games strikes platinum with another game.
I see what you did there.

what the hell is going on screen??? Black and White GFX is cool ... but dear baby Mario, its almost impossible to figure out what's going on!

Still screens look a bit busy, but from the videos it looked very easy to make your way and identify what is what.

Looking at screens of this game is worthless, for 2 reasons:

1. The Art Style
2. What's actually happening. The screens don't say anything the first trailer didn't. It's kind of like before RE4 came out after they showed the village for months on end (Or at least I hope so...)

Still looking forward to the game (though I hope I don't get a headache playing it like I did when watching Renaissance).

Due to my love for NMH and Killer 7, I feel a desperate need to like this game. For some reason tho, every time I see shots of it, especially large ones, I get dizzy as hell. I'm guessing once I actually sit down with it for 10 mins or so tho my brain will be forced to accept it and I can move on from there.

also, I think it looks about 10x cooler than sin city ever was. matter of opinion, I s'pose.

Have you seen any videos? I find the screenshots to be a bit confusing but I don't get a hint of that when watching it in motion.

I won't be able to play this for more than, say, 20 mins at a time due to headaches; but day one nonetheless.

Wow. Such a simple concept (black and white). Has there been another game like it visually? Seems like a no-brainer in hindsight.

Day one purchase for in Clover/Platinum Games I trust.
