But, yeah, they decide to stream it to more than just 360s an hour and a half before it goes live, and the event is called "The Best of Gamescom LIve."

Thinking there'll be any announcement is just asking for disappointment.

Hasn't CBoat only gotten a few things wrong? Off the top of my head it's only been prince of persia, PS4 release date, XBOX One restricted 3 GB RAM for indies.

He also did seem pretty confident about no online pay wall for PS4.

Obviously he put a "noconfirm" there but why even post it up 2 days before E3 unless you're fairly confident about your information. Anyway, I think "truthfacts" should be regarded as rumors and labeled so (unless verifiable through additional sources) instead of absolute fact so situations like the PS4 release date can be avoided.

Would love to see a release date from this little event...

I will watch for curiosity's sake. I mostly just want to see some of the games being played if they show that, or anything else along those lines. I'm not expecting much, just more info on the Xbone and more gameplay's.

This isn't a press conference. This is a showcase of XB1 games on the floor of Gamescom. Why the hell would they announce a release date during it?

Yeah pretty much. The biggest thing i would expect to be shown is the teaser for the next KI character.
