Naughty Dog are practically unparalleled when it comes to technical skill in the industry. You're setting yourself up for it if you're expecting anything beyond that level.

Killzone trailer looked cool, but the graphics didnt impress me that much because they were cg. No game comes close as of yet. But there are loads of amazing looking games so I dont care

If Guerilla can still hit the physics, polygon, and animation level seen in the original it will be beyond amazing, but I just don't see them having the ram budget for textures that are overall anywhere near the ones in the E3 trailer.

The Clouds didn't look volumetric though, really they almost looked like 2D overlays tbh.

I'm positive that the new screens themselves have something to do with it (Bad captures or what not) but it doesn't look nearly as detailed as when it was first shown (textures are a big one here). But then again look at how the leafs all bleed together in these new screens, they're bad captures that's for sure.

Actually that picture is realtime. It's a realtime cutseen. Nathan Hale's face actually does look like that during gameplay aswell Check the co-op. Only difference between the cutseen and gameplay is that during the game, his face is expressionless.
