Wait, wasn't there a third timeline thing revealed not long ago that explained Link is defeated in one timeline? It didn't specifically say Link died, but you can read it between the lines.

As for an underrated villain:

He murdered his father and tried to employ ancient dragons to carry out genocide on this world. Nergal is an amateur compared to him.

The internet is so fantastically random, especially considering I made the thread a year and a half ago. Still, its got a lot of people who haven't played this masterpiece to want to give it a go, and that's more than I could wish for. Please Nintendo, take note.
