Have they shown anything about possibly being able to use Fierce Deity anywhere? Given his popularity and the fact that it's an endgame item, I think that'd be a great payoff for longtime fans of the game.
I don't think gritty is the right way to describe it at all. It's more like a twisted fairytale, I don't think the changes have ruined that. Apart from the new sundial.
What if you don't have the Song of Soaring? You don't get it until at least a couple hours in.
Also, why willfully stick with a system that severely limits the places where people can reload their game when you have a perfectly good opportunity to improve that system by at least allowing them to reload in more places? Again, this is a portable we're talking about - the game needs to be playable in bursts. It's a massive pain in the ass to have to leave and then walk back to a dungeon to save mid-cycle. Might as well toss some more statues in those dungeons and at other strategic places.
Temporary saves were awful. I never wrapped my head around it as a kid and constantly lost my saves. Lol.
While I don't agree that things look bad, of course Majora's Mask was dark and gritty.

No. Instead they will add a new transformation mask:

You can turn into a Gerudo?? What does that do?
It has the power to start GAF threads. (That's from OoT. I'm joking)
It's clear as day that they gave this one much more polish than Ocarina 3D. Which is fantastic![]()

So, this is just the the updated version, without a masterquest or something like that?
Temporary saves are great. They force you to keep your schedule straight so that you don't miss anything, or else you have to start the whole cycle over.

I'm pretty sure there's no reason to think that.PLEASE somebody answer me:
Do we honestly have to use Pictobox for looking around if we don't have the n3DS?
What were the problems with Ocarina?
I would say this was the perfect oportunity to announce new content, but, lets see...I don't think they've announced everything for this game yet. They didn't even give NA the overview trailer nor Aonuma's walk through of Clock Town. There's plenty of time between now and release for them to show what else is new.
Also, WWHD had Hero Mode so I doubt this game won't have an equivalent. They've been putting Hero Mode in every Zelda game since OoT3D's Master Quest. It would be super trivial for them to put a Hero Mode in the game that has you take more damage from enemies and what not. It'd be neat if choosing said mode reverted it to the old save system, too (but I doubt they'd have the foresight to think people actually enjoyed the old system).
Sounds like a problem with your understanding and not necessarily the game.

If not. this would be a step down from what they did in Ocarina.
Been a long time since I played OoT on the 3DS. How exactly do you move the camera around in that game and MM if you won't be playing on the N3DS? Forgot how that function worked and they clearly showed this off a lot in this video.
I'm pretty sure there's no reason to think that.
There's literally NO button for looking around.
didn't you have to press something on the bottom screen in OoT? the c-stick only provides 3rd-person camera control.
Yeah, I thought this was the case but I may be mistaken.didn't you have to press something on the bottom screen in OoT? the c-stick only provides 3rd-person camera control.

That's what I'm talking about, the button is NOT present on the bottom screen.
If I had to guess as to why the bank was moved, I would say it's because the banker could always remember you balance, independent of time. The only location in the game that isn't affected by the flow of time is inside the clock tower. The bank is partially embedded in the clock tower, so it makes sense.
OoT and MM were N64 games and N64 didn't have a second analog stick. You had to press the look button to look around, which was on the touch screen in OoT3D.

Camera controls are an extra feature for n3DS, not a removed feature from MM. Just press the L button to center the camera behind you like every other 3D Zelda game.
Nintendo originally designed Majora's Mask to be more difficult than Ocarina, assuming that everyone who played it had played Ocarina of Time first, so that might be a good reason. But, Nintendo also said that they were making changes in this one to make up for that, so who knows.So..how badly do I need to play OOT 3D before I get this? Never played either.

The look button is replaced by the Pictobox, which is dumb in my opinion.
I don't wanna look around in black and white.
Especially considering that the pictobox is only used ONCE in the game, and that's for a Heart Piece.
You can use the Frankenstick for OG 3DS'es for camera control as well.
Is that a fact?
Official European Majora's Mask Site said:The graphics of the original title have been overhauled and improved, bringing the adventure to life like never before, while still remaining faithful to the Nintendo 64 original. Take a look around the world with the Nintendo 3DS system’s motion controls. You can also use the Nintendo 3DS Circle Pad Pro (sold separately) on Nintendo 3DS or the New Nintendo 3DS system’s C Stick to adjust your view!
