And I think the guy very much deserves to sue the city. He sat in jail for 4 days and deserve something for that nonsense.

There was a thread about it a couple days ago, but someone from the BCT reported it and I guess that's why it was closed. I'm not sure exactly why the thread got closed, though. I don't recall anything in that thread that would really justify it needing to be closed

What kind of leeway do police have for jailing someone in a situation like this anyway? There have been plenty of stories where somebody shoots and kills someone, claiming self defense, and not arrested/jailed for a long time if at all. This seems like it would be a similar scenario.

I honestly think that if you are a guy and if a woman tries to hit you, you should just shove her away before attempting any sort of physical retaliation. That dude was like 6FT+ monster and the chick didnt pose any threats. He should of just pushed her away or told her if she did it again, he would smack her as a warning.

I understand its the internet but its really not that funny. Even if she sorta "hit" him first, did she really hurt him for him to actually slap her that hard? Im not defending her since I know she is in the wrong but we guys are more strong than most women so I still think if you are in this similar situation, you should try to avoid any physical attacks unless you are cornered and have to protect your well being.
