Nah, they just need to sequester a few writers in a remote cabin for a week with nothing but testosterone patches, cocaine, and whisky. Then we'd get a proper script
Ah such a bummer, was looking forward to the return of Star Wars on the big screen. This franchise has lost all steam after the appalling third season and now this.
Feels like Disney knows this is going to flop and have cut back on advertising. The only marketing I see for this is the Burger King ads with some gross-looking blue "milkshake" that baby Yoda moves around with the force while grunting like an autistic child. It was probably too late to get out of that deal with BK.
Without expecting it to be the second coming, I was looking forward to seeing this anyway. But just don't even feel motivated to see it in the theater anymore. Will watch later at home I guess.
I love the show, but its gotten worse as its gone on. S1 > S2 >>> S3. The trailers haven't gotten me interested for the movie in the slightest, and now it seems the early reviews have confirmed what the meh trailers were foreshadowing.
I'll watch the film when it comes to streaming, but I'm not in any rush.
Part of me wonders if it's actually good since critics don't like it. But sadly I just don't care enough to see in a theater. The damage has been done. Waiting for streaming
How could they fuck this up? All we want is TAKEN with Mando and Grogu?!?!? Grogu is abducted in the first 5 minutes, Mando gives the EXACT SAME "I have a particular set of skills" speech, then there is 90 minutes of Mando savaging aliens left and right while Grogu uses his force powers to work free. They unite at the end to defeat the final boss.
