No wonder. There was a manga I read last week (can't remember which one) that was so shoddily translated that I was surprised at the sudden degrade of quality.
In retrospect, it might've been TWGOK.
Darren Shan is good. I like the mix between battles and story, but I liked mostly the character interactions and the different look at the vampire world.
I'm on volume 7 and still waiting to see
Darren's friend come back in the story. I expect they will fight at some point.

Well, I just read the entire new volume and... What? Now Punpun has consistently been a series where I have to read and re-read to get the different meanings of things, but from what I've gotten so far, am I correct in assuming that not much happened?
Diana/Tenri is too cute. Meanwhile, Keima's still reeling from having to shut down Chihiro like that. I can only imagine what will happen when they have to see one another again in class.

Well, I just read the entire new volume and... What? Now Punpun has consistently been a series where I have to read and re-read to get the different meanings of things, but from what I've gotten so far, am I correct in assuming that not much happened?
- Something got Punpun to relapse into his helplessly depressed state and Sachi is too bull headed to deal with it. This frustration comes from her manga proposal getting dissected like it did, but instead of accepting the criticism (even if she didn't agree with it), she let the frustration get the better of her. This is also taxing her relationships with others.
- Manga is serious business.
- Shimizu is confirmed to be a bit out there, probably due to trauma over losing his mother early or maybe just compounded because of it. Seki is still working and not finding much enjoyment in life. Both of them run into their parallels in that (weird as fuck) Pegasus dude and his oddly sensible but purely un-emotional/sympathetic brother.
- Aiko's just looming around and dabbling in everything including gravure modeling. There's a Punpun moment coming up and I have a feeling shit's going to be EXTRA fucked up this time.
- Good Vibrations seems like its going to find a way to involve every one of the main characters that were focused on in the early parts of this manga.
Note of Interest: What I'd like to know is, who or what is this new duck like caricature supposed to be? It has shown up in quite a few instances already and isn't limited to any one person's sight like Asano's other caricatures in this series.

I was waiting for this manga to end before reading but if its a tragic depressing reality based thing
Mostly I read manga to escape reality for a while and enjoy heroes and happy endings
I've read some sad stuff before but they are never as enjoyable when there is no victory at the end
Well apparently the ending isn't as sad as I thought based on an interview with Fukumoto. It actually kind of lessens the impact, but hey, at least it's a happy ending kind of!

The Chihiro thing is still affecting him and it also seems that he's seeing all of this in the new light.

These are some interesting developments. The Hero still hasn't regained the city and it's gonna be tough with all the demons discrimination going on. Plus that Aurora recovery campaign was a disaster.
Seeing how the Knight is now going to be summoned for the next war, I doubt she will refuse. Either Hero will come and help us, or the Demon Queen will help her with some new invention.

This is insulting. I never said you cannot objectively criticize Bleach. As long as the critic is valid and not just troll post or just bull, like Naruto and Bleach don´t have themes in them, than i have no problem with it. Different people like different things.

Very nice return chapter. I might still go back and reread the chairs game, but the way this chapter was handled made it very easy to remember what happened over a year ago.
As for the current events, I'm not thrilled with the reasons why Akiyama and Nao are continuing the game but I'm looking forward to seeing Nao's growth continue.
