I don't see how that was a hint. Madara's "You madman?!" comment suggested more that Kabuto had summoned something ridiculous like Rikudo. I don't know, I would have expected Tobi to react a bit differently than that to seeing the real Madara.

My theory it´s either Rikudo or Madara. There is no third option that could stir Madara like this. Madara was surprised on how Kabuto found the DNA. So i was not surprised that it was Madara.
Besides there are theories that say that Madara/Tobi is a Zetsu clone. The real Madara´s body is buried. But there is something that is not clear about all of this. How is Madara´s original dead body knew about Nagato and the resurrection jutsu?

To be fair Kabuto also said "Hi tobi, oh wait you go by madara these days huh?" and "relax I haven't told a soul." Suggesting that whatever was in the coffin had a strong connection to madara and would be compromising for madara if someone else found out.

The resurrection jutsu was created by Tobirama. He could have been in the planning stages of creating it back when Konoha was founded. It explains why Madara knows about it, but doesn't really know the specifics.

I think he was also pretty angry that Kabuto resurrected madara, something which tobi wanted to do himself. Kabuto even did it the unpure way. Kabuto may have even been aware of this plan, or rather maybe even necessity, of Tobi's to resurrect Madara. He was basically showing Tobi that he's holding Madara's soul hostage. Indeed there's no way Tobi could have refused such a threat.

Tobi may have agreed to an alliance not because he was afraid of fighting what was in the coffin or fighting Kabuto in general. I mean what would Kabuto have gained from going to war with Madara anyway? Nothing really. It wasn't the threat of war that made Tobi agree it was the fact that Kabuto said "I've got something you need" which would have forced Tobi to go to war to get it back or step into an alliance.

Oda must have missed the memo from Kubo, Kishimoto, and Mashima, because this chapter lacked any sort of surprise. Zoro's panel was nice as well as when Robin threw on the shades. Franky at least blasting a fireball on panel gives me hope that the next chapters will cover each of the strawhats fighting and not resort the enemies to having off panel defeats.

It just might be the person in that casket is Madara himself and the reason he was so shocked to see it was because who we look at and see as the person that claims to be Madara ain't Madara at all...it's actually his brother Izuna who in all reality took his brothers eyes when Madara was going blind and the story he told Sasuke was true up to that point. Izuna is taking his brothers legacy and living it out as his own as his brother. It wouldn't be hard to pull off at all since their brothers and look almost like twins anyways. I know it would shock me to see the brother that almost took my eyes and my life alive again being controlled no less...

But that's just me..

You know, I don't really have a problem with this chapter technically, but this shit is just so stupid. I mean, what does this all mean? I get that it's a twist, but can this really be explained away in the next chapter? There's so much shit, we've been lied to for 100some chapters. Well, real Madara is here to save the day.

I still hate Naruto (the character) at this point. Him getting to the battlefields and suddenly giving everyone the upperhand is just meh. Basically, one Naruto clone is superior in tactics, strength, ability, chakra, jutsu's, coolness, badassness, intelligence (deflecting Raikahe's arm? Genius), forms, and more...over pretty much every other ninja ever. The entire war effort should have gone into everyone individually getting a turn to train Naruto. Then no one would need to do anything.

I cannot wait to see what Madara has to say. I don't even care about Fake Madara anymore.

Before I get on the anticipated matchup, let me just say that Ikkaku is a cool bro. Teaching lessons and still being badass, after beating the shit out of a dude? Yeah, boss.

Tsukishima vs Byakuya is shaping up to be what I was looking forward to. Tsukishima is not fodder and is the first of the "bad" side to actually get the upperhand in his fight. How long that will last, idk, but either way, what he did here makes sense...it's just really broken. Manipulation of the souls of objects is broken itself, but every other fullbringer we've seen manipulates some kind of object, and then uses that as their weapon. Tsukishima on the other hand is the only person whose power is dependent on him, rather than an external object he is controlling (dollhouse, gun, clock, boots, brass knuckles). He also never stated that his power only works on living beings, and since Ginjou long ago said that everything, including inanimate objects, have souls...this makes his power a lot more fucking overpowered than I initially thought.

I don't know how this one is going to turn out though. I really hope Tsukishima isn't done after this arc, though he probably is. Tsukishima and Aizen team up...unstoppable duo.

All I said is that I never really meant it has plotholes and more meant along the lines that none of the resolutions in Bleach are satisfying, which is absolutely correct in every way possible. Cause having surprise after surprise is good writing?

And Decken wouldn't wake up now. It will screw up the flow of what's happening. Plus the whole "true character" thing will be explained as a separate chapter assuming it's something big.
