Well in all fairness, why WOULDN'T they want those if they make you more powerful.
The question of why they have their Jinchuuriki powers seems obvious to me too. Because he has them under his control and gave them back to them.

I don't see this happening at all. Her character isn't a blank slate enough to insert a tragic backstory, which is a requirement to be a Strawhat. She has a predefined character already and we already know her backstory and what she's all about. Vivi and Paulie was more involved in their arcs than she is and they didn't join. Jinbe on the other hand has fought alongside the Strawhats similar to how Franky did before he joined. And I don't mean just in the background fighting, he's been SHOWCASED alongside the Strawhats, and he has a blank slate to work with a potential backstory.
I don't really want either to join but I think Jinbe is far more likely by this point. Just him being on the cover with the other Strawhats without any other characters kind of irons this idea out.

Well i came to the conclusion of Shirohoshi joining because of her past, and that she was locked up for 10 years, and her personality fits the SH mo. So i concluded that she wants to go out and see the world. Her brothers can govern. Vivi does not have siblings so she had to stay. We already know that she has a special power which would help the SH in the new world. Anyway i just crossed referenced her with other SH characters and she fits well. We will see.

She's also a gigantic fish. Taking up way more space than the boat has, attracting 100x more attention than a freaking live skeleton ever would, not that it matters because she is unable to walk on land.
I guess she could follow the crew everywhere in water and just stick around to protect the boat during land arc but somehow I doubt that

... which makes her a good match-up for San Juan Wolf. Well, maybe not by herself, but she could call some Sea Kings.
Jimbei would be a better one. Hell, he was fighting a giant sized opponent this arc!

Not that I think either are joining but having Jinbei would be a better, more convincing match-up.
I'm thinking Franky for Wolf right now but I dunno. He doesn't really seem like a good match for anyone.
I guess that makes the next Strawhat as likely a candidate as any.

Monster Chopper should be the defacto opponent of San Juan wolf and all future giants fights.
An enormous mecha from Franky isnt out of reach either, nor is a giant cloned Robin.
They dont need that mermaid, at least not for fights
Shirahoshi will join the strawhats to see the world, guys. She makes much more sense than Jimbei, who is an old fart, has no business going to get to the one piece, has already been given tons of screentime with luffy and opportunities to shine.
And how can you say Shirahoshi is no use in a fight. She is potentially the most powerful strawhat, by simple means of being able to call Sea Kings to her aid.
Chopper already has a rival in Doctor Q and Stronger.
edit: besides, Shirahoshi could have way more development of her character than Jimbei, making her more interesting.

I seriously doubt Shirahoshi will join just because of one thing, she's a princess. If fishmen really want to start living together peacefully with humans from now on, having their princess go around with a bunch of pirates is not exactly the best way to improve relationships (mostly with the government). That and I picture Neptune as being a little overprotective of her.
Jimbei's pretty much a lock IMO.
I had Franky paired up against Pizarro, but a lot of them could go any way for me.
I don't know. If Oda was going to go down that road, wouldn't Wolf and Monster Chopper be the same size? I gind of get the impression that Monster Chopper's around the same size as a Giant, whereas Wolf was eclipsing even Oars Jr.
This time doesn't feel as crazy.

Yes and no. She'd have an amazing crew dynamic, but falls apart in almost every other respect and has has compelling reasons not to join.

No, a 100 times no. The last thing i want for another love puppy to be in the group. Ugh.
Boa would have been awesome to see interact with the rest of the crew. Nami and Robin would have been looked down (or rather up) when she speaks to them. Sanji going bonkers that one of the most beautiful woman in the world has it for Luffy. Oh and Boa constantly kicking Chopper out of the way. Her power would require some gimping the same thing happened to Robin powers.

That would be absolutely horrible. I really got sick from the repetitive behavior of most of the SH, especially Sanji´s nose bleeds.
Boa interactions would have been awesome, too bad her fighting abilities are as useless as Robin. Don't know if I want another useless member.

Oh, yeah, it's been out in Chinese for a few days. It's great. New Hunters are revealed (from the vote), Killua has internal cerebral dialogue, and there's fun Hisoka moments.
Basically Killua knows his older brother wants to kill Alluka.
Robin's battle style isn't bad IMO, she just hasn't really had a chance to showcase her abilities. Robin only had in one solo fight before the current arc, and she didn't really go all out in it. I think if she got a completely fleshed out battle it would be really interesting.

also, didn't Gaara keep his powers minus transformation after being revived? they probably kept part of the bijuu powers as their own and would have had them even if they were revived by someone else.

The sadism sometimes becomes a little bit unbearable. Especially at the end of volume 12. Jin is such an asshole.

And speaking of assholes, Garment is another fine specimen of that class. It was shown in volume 3, through the little revelations about Fergus and Jennifer past, that Garment was an egoistical bastard, but his appearance in volume 4 makes him even more of an asshole, with the way he acts toward his sons.
I'm displeased that I couldn't see Jennifer kicking asses, but Madam May made up for that. She's awesome.

It's a proper ending. Could have been done in a different way but it pretty much wraps up the manga.
