Actually, for me it's the "hollow" thing in general. I tend not to like the "demonic" transformations in these sorts of scenarios where the character has no control over themselves and/or looks monstrous as opposed to just being able to kick the shit out of someone. So the whole horned demon thing was wack. Even Ichigo himself said it was a copout victory because he couldn't actually control himself during the fight.

That's another example of a plot twist worse than Naruto, btw. I don't think Naruto is going to offer to sever any limbs just to make a fight fair any time soon.

What I don't like about Detective Conan is how "perfect" the main character is. I mean, by God he is just a high schooler but he must be smarter than even the most intelligent professor in the world and he is knowledgeable about everything and anything. I mean, it appears like he has encyclopedic knowledge about all the things in this world!
Gifted protagonists is nothing new in shounen but Detective Conan takes it to a really ridiculous level.

If being "badass" was what that crappy looking Hollow Ichigo was when he fought Ulquiorra then I guess I don't like badasses. That form looked retarded.
Old-school, half mask, yellow eyed Hollow Ichigo is the best. Period.

Anyway, I don't mind his absurd intelligence since he's not the only one.there's a lot of similarly genius detectives in that series, and I still found the black orgonization aan intimidating antagonist, although they appear so rarely.

I personally liked it from a design point as it was both majorly bizarre & savage. Although I will admit half mask, yellow eyes Ichigo gets a higher position on the totem pole as it better conveys that sense of crazy and "yeah I'm going to cut yo ass."

Some of the mistery cases were fun, it show me 100 ways to kill someone using piano cords.
But, the plot advanced every 100 (anime) episodes, so I lost any interest years ago.

I stopped reading it toward volume 33 or so.
I still buy it though (I'm up to volume 71 and 5 special cases books) because one day, I'm sure, I'll get down and read them.
A quick comment on the first volume of Wandering Son: this looks more like a book and less like a manga, at least from the outside.
I sit down and catch up with Detective Conan like once or twice a year. After spending so many years following it weekly, I just gave up. And as much as I love it to death (hooray, mysteries! And a surprisingly large amount are quite the fair play ones), I just can't do that anymore. That and it's been like 80 volumes.
Nisekoi 6 - The manga does such a great job of playing out exactly as expected, yet I still find that okay just out of an enjoyment of the main pairing.

Huh just realized I missed like 10 chapters of FT. Love how training arc just became a beach chapter and random party. I usually bicker about this stuff, but I think the mangaka has reach a good level of mastery of drawing voluptuous ladies 
And speaking of Detective Conan, am I just getting dumber, or are the cases getting more and more obscure? Pretty much every case, I've been thinking 'How the fuck did you get to that conclusion based off a chip in the wall?'.

I actually thought they were getting easier, honestly. But I think that may just be due to the amount of mysteries I read in general. Starting to get too good of a collection of ways to murder :/

Lovely chapter with all of my favorites showing up or being mentioned (Gray and Lyon, Natsu, precious Ultear and that time magic, Gerard FTW), and after last chapter had Loke, and one previous Gajeel, and one before with Hibiki and Romeo, Im already in love with the characters for the arc. I cant wait to see everyone face each other and the dragon slayers go at it.
I think the powerup is interesting and unique especially coming from characters who were those type of line blurring antag~protagonists. I loved how excited they looked about it.

I still find it rather amusing that people exist who take Bleach seriously, but hey different strokes.
Need more HxH right now still its the best of the pack currently. I wonder if those misses Allumi send Hisoka after are the Hunters showing he's able to read Killua as well as Killua is able to read him.

I think its the fake blimps but given how they are reading each other really well (save for Hisoka trolling Illumi at times) its possible. Plus that would give Hisoka some fun by trying to fight skilled people.
I was thinking it might be the dummy airships (since some have butlers)
