Blue Gender is pretty awesome too, the main character is a wuss at the start but eventually becomes a hyperviolent raging beast. The post apocalyptic world infested with giant insect like monsters that have no desire except to eat your fucking face is really atmospheric
 
I would say "Lupin the Third" is pretty masculine. At least, the better episodes/movies are. "Mystery of Mamo" and "Island of Assassins" (aka "Walther P38") are pretty manly, if you ask me.
 
Gunnm is also a pretty good series too (I liked last order better), with a good female lead, only the first series has an anime though, and it was only an OVA

Oh I checked out Night Raid 1931 last night, not bad. I'd highly recommend checking out an episode off itunes. Basically if you like the setting of Ip Man, Fists of Fury, 1930s China in general, with the caveat the heroes are Japanese, you might like this. Each member of the team has a a super power (dodge bullets, teleport jump. telepathy, and the last one hasn't been revealed yet), but they all have time limits on their powers. Besides that it's pretty real world setting and nicely animated.

I started checking out that New Legend Savior FOTNS stuff. I'm not holding out a ton of hope, but Roah cutting people in half with a bike and punching fools through the stomach never gets old.

Just watched Spriggan. I really loved the animation. You can tell the guys took time in making that film. My only gripe is the story. It revolves around an interesting idea but its executed soooo poorly. Also there's too much talking in proportion to fighting.
 
Eden is fucking BRUTAL and lovely. Didn't like the ending much at all though. I get the feeling it was meant to have 2-4 more volumes at the least. Total rushjob on the plot.

One thing that blew me away about the end of Mad Bull 34. I was 100% sure
Daizaburo would have lost his virginity by the end

Yeah, Souten Kuro is some crazy crazy shit. And manly. Remember how people said to not pursue Lu Bu? Watch Episode 22 and you'll find out why. First time I saw that, I literally said HOLY SHIT.
