I thought it would go to PS+ once it hit 10K peak CCU. I don't know if this is more or less desperate on their part.

It's just common sense.

So much of this game is based on long term progression hooks. Giving players a week and then taking it away will do wonders for converting them into $40 bucks.

And S3 will likely be when the big CCU ascension begins.
