March is going to be ridiculous.

bingo. I used to be a major fan of the show back in the 90s, but nowadays i only watch once in a blue moon. the setting is fine for a comedy show, but seems unappealing for a videogame. i've played past south park games and thought they were kinda shitty. granted, obsidian is at the helm so it may turn out wonderfully. if that's the case i'll give it a shot. however, i have no hype for it pre-release.

Funnily, going in with very low expectations might turn out good.

I love South Park, they're always relevant to me, so I want to see how they explore the game world.

Titanfall and Dark Souls 2 are my main contenders, but I just don't know how I can find time for both of them. 1st world problems indeed.

I might be getting Titanfall (X1) and might be getting Yoshi's Island.

I love the first Yoshi's Island game and it was one of my favorites as a kid but I'm not really sure about the quality of this new one.

I love South Park, but no matter the license I will always be hesitant before purchasing one. South Park's humor can be hit-and-miss in the show and games are a lot harder to nail humor in and have it work across a multi-hour experience. The last video I saw showing how you fart in your hand and throw it as a spell was not overly encouraging. I'll love if it turns out well, but I'll wait for others to roll the dice.

This is exactly how I feel as well about the game. South Park used to be a really genius show but for the most part the last few seasons have really disappointed me, the few excepts would be Imagination Land and Console Wars series. That exact video you are mentioning is the whole reason I decided against the game, it just seemed to stupid.

I don't plan any purchases for march. I'll just stick to my backlog and wait for everything else to become real cheap.

Thanks to great Amazon pricing and $28.45 in credit from holiday gift spending, I am getting Ground Zeroes for $11.54.

South Park: The Stick of Truth - No thanks.
TitanFall - Will get for PC eventually.
Dark Souls 2 - Ahh yeah.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - Will wait for complete game. Even though I love Metal Gear I'm, not paying 40 bucks just to play the prologue.
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD - Ahh yeah.
inFamous: Second Son - Still need PS4
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Still need to play DIII
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky - Ahh yeah.
Yoshi's New Island - Ahh yeah.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z - No thanks.
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma - No thanks.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight - Hmm, will wait for reviews.
Cut the Rope: Triple Treat - No thanks.
Rambo: The Video Game - Will watch movies instead.
Resident Evil 4 (Steam Edition) - Ahh yeah.

FFX/X-2 HD and Dark Souls II are probably the only ones I will get though.

Only getting South Park. I might get Shovel Knight or Yoshi's New Island depending on reviews and whether or not I have free time.

Thinking about getting Ground Zeroes but I feel like I want to wait to get it on PS4 when I decide to actually get one..... huge internal debate.... Most of these I'll have to wait since I don't have one of the current gen consoles yet

FFX HD is the one I'll most likely be picking up soon.

i honestly wonder wth people buy next gen so early
do you not like games or something
how can you entertain yourself with such few games
Well you don't really gain anything by waiting. PS4 is not going to see a price drop for a long time, so might as well enjoy it when the tech is brand new. You're going to pay the same price if you buy it November 15th 2013 or November 15th 2014.

Just gonna get Infamous: Second Son and Dark Souls II for sure next month. I kinda doubt I'll get anything else since those will be enough to last me for awhile with PS+ still filling my backlog.

Dark Souls 2 and Titanfall for me, both on PC!

I was totally hype for South Park until the long ass delay and I lost all excitement in the process. Could get excited again if it gets a glowing reception.

I want to get into the Atlier series but with a Vita title first probably.

If I had a PS4 I'd def have Infamous Second Son on the must-buy list too.

Ya we do.

Advantage of being able to afford more games on PC and the previous generation that are still coming out.
Don't have to deal with droughts and garbage launch games.
Don't have to deal with the inevitable issues that come with new electronics released in a consumer environment.
Wait a year get to pick the best games for cheap, price drop on the system, and a hardware refresh.
Hell, I don't even have to upgrade my mid-range computer I built 4 years ago, while getting better performance than either console.

I'm excited to see where the PS4 is in about a year or so from now, but it is far from a compelling purchase at this juncture.

Pretty interested:
South Park: The Stick of Truth - Love the humor of South Park and the art seems to really capture the show. Depending on what reviews/GAFers say about it I might jump on.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - Been a fan of the MGS series for a long time so it's impossible to not be interested. If I get it it'd be the PS3 version since I haven't got a current gen console yet.
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD - Loved FFX, it's been a while since I played it so this seems like a great chance to replay it with improved visuals.

Maybe:
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Might check it out, seems like a lot of the things I didn't like initially are getting changed. But then again, I am not too big on the genre anymore.
Yoshi's New Island - Will consider buying eventually after I beat the 3 or 4 3DS games I have if the impressions are good.

I do own a number of games that I haven't played yet, so I will likely not buy any of these March releases at launch.

Dark Souls 2 is theo nly game I'll be buying (assuming that the PC version actually releases in March, which it probably won't). South Park I may buy at a later date. Don't really care for any of the other titles

Dark Souls 2
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD
inFamous: Second Son

I'm getting all these. Too many games, too little time, sigh....

im buying one in 2015 most likely so price drop get probably

Waiting awhile to snag Second Son. It's the only game I'm interested in come March. If Yoshi's New Island comes out with a good deal, might pick it up.

Trying to finish 2013's games still though and I have a bunch I haven't picked up yet. Going to be hard to keep up this year.

Rambo looks just terrible. The trailer has barely any gameplay, and the gameplay it does have looks like Operation Wolf, but not in a good way. I wish Reaper of Souls was coming for 360.

I'm definitely getting Titanfall and Dark Souls. I don't really like splitting my time when I get new games, so I'm going to get one or the other. Which one should I get first? I was thinking Dark Souls to get the launch experience with other people, then Titanfall once there have been bug fixes, balance tweaks, etc.

South Park: The Stick of Truth No
TitanFall No
Dark Souls 2 Maybe
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Doubtful
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD No
inFamous: Second Son No
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls No
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky Don't even know what this is
Yoshi's New Island Doubtful
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z No
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma No
The Witch and the Hundred Knight No
Cut the Rope: Triple Treat No
Rambo: The Video Game Uh.. no.

South Park: The Stick of Truth
TitanFall
Dark Souls 2
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD
inFamous: Second Son
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

Yoshi's New Island
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z
The Witch and the Hundred Knight

Bolded are day one purchases, the italicized are what I'm on the fence about... Haven't seen enough info about Witch and the Hundred Knight, Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, or Yoshi's New Island. South Park, I'll wait for reviews for.

But all the rest? Yes plis inject it into my brain.

So upon reflection I probably won't be playing MGSV:GZ anytime soon, although I completely forgot about Yoshi's New Island and Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright coming out in March so I will check those two out and see how they are received.

MLB The Show PS4 (game I'm looking forward to most)
South Park: The Stick of Truth PS3
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PS4 (rent)
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD PS3/Vita
inFamous: Second Son PS4
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (waiting for PS4 version)

South Park on PC
Shovel knight on 3DS

That's it since DS2 PC won't come out in March probably and I'm not paying more than 10/15€ for 2 hours worth of MGS. Will also wait for Titanfall, won't commit right now. Also Yoshi's New Island looks like shit, so there's that.

My "Day 1" March purchases include...

- South Park: The Stick of Truth [Either Xbox 360 or PS3] (March 4th)
- Final Fantasy X-X2 HD [VITA] (March 18th)
- inFAMOUS Second Son [PS4] (March 21st)
- Shovel Knight [3DS] (March 31st)

Will wait for a price drop...

- Dark Souls II (the other Souls titles still reside on my backlog pile)

Will wait on a PS4 port...

- Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

Will wait on a Vita port...

- Atelier Escha & Logy
- BlazBlue: Chronophantasma

Will wait for reviews...

- Deception IV: Blood Ties
- Yoshi's New Island

That doesn't seem so bad at all.
