About a year ago I actually thought TNA would get gradually more popular, then start competing with WWE, then competition would breed excellence.

SHIMMER wrestling have announced the first match for their next set of tapings, and it's a good one! Veteran joshi wrestler Ayako Hamada will take on rising joshi star Ayumi Kurihara! They've had a short match in Pro Wrestling WAVE back in 1999, but I imagine their match in SHIMMER will be a whole nother level as Kurihara has improved a ton in past year or so.

Raw was ok last night. I like the Orton and Punk build- up. It should be a red hot match up at Wrestlemania. Yes I know that you guys will say its the same junk from Cena .. super Cena .. etc. What I want to point out (if not said already) is that his Cena via Satellite was another knock at Rock while still playing up the Cena/Miz match. Miz went four weeks of making Cena look destructible. Cena takes out Riley and suddenly Miz is weak again? I don't think so. I think the WWE has done a fine job of making Miz look strong going into Wrestlemania.
