I tried to play Division 2 yesterday and they added so much shit that I got overwhelmed lol

GaaS games are brutal if you stop playing and comeback later

Dynamic weather or heck season system like Forza Horizon 4 did.

The second one was more of the same, but without the charm of a snowy environment and it got boring quickly, imo.

Divison 1 was so so good. Division 2 improved it in alot of ways but the gear grind, for some reason I liked how division 1 handled the grind much more and the variety of builds seemed much better than 2. Weapon mods were better done in 1 too and the big thing was the christmas new york setting just felt amazing and the div 1 dark zone was way more interesting. so no wonder I stopped playing 2.
I would be pretty happy with a next gen update to Division 1, even the underground expansion was really good for replay ability on the hardest difficulty it felt really good to make it out with some gear.

I think there might be good game there, but even less spongy enemies and more fluid mechanics would help

First one was better. Better settings, better atmosphere, more realistic fractions to fight against.

It it a good game for sure but being a gaas, I always felt like Massive were to pull the plug sooner or later and I'd be like, well why am I playing? It's not like destiny 2 where devs are continuously updating with content( I'm not saying it's a better game by any mean). But yeah, when you boot Division 2 on, the server always feels dead. Matchmaking take a long time for early event and early mission.

So to me the message it gives to new player is , is it really worth it? Where else could I put my time on?
