I hope you can still use the gamepad for other features, while using a pro controller, ect..
Sonic racing did this, so im assuming mk8 will. At least have some of the hud on the gamepad, to allow me to take in the visuals some more.
I highly doubt that. They've been improving online since the Wii, and they know how big MK8 and Smash will be for online multiplayer. I think they're serious about online with these two.
Plus if they fuck this up these games will do much worse than they should
Well, bequietdrive said the embargo will last until Friday but GoNintendo said we should expect news late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Oh man I'm so hyped for this game you have no idea. XD I dreamed last night Antasma would be a newcomer. That would be freaking amazing, sadly I doubt it'll happen.
Hoping for the return of N64 Rainbow Road in HD. Loved that course, sure I'm in the minority about it but I'm in the minority with just about anything. It could twist into antigravity sections at some points and have a gliding section at the beginning. They could also get rid of the rails at some points and make it into a really great course.
Also I hope Petey Piranha returns, he and Waluigi were my mains in Double Dash.

mario kart DS had better online than brawl. This is the nintendo franchise with the best track record.

They stopped using GCN models and put in more effort in the looks department compared to mkw...and they really want this to sell.

Haha I should have guessed that. The anticipation for new info is so strong...
They really really really need this to sell systems. Plus they actually had to make all new assets. I expect Zelda to be stunning too. It, this and smash are Nintendos big hopes to at least get a GCN LTD out of wii u, and after the wii mk is pretty much Nintendos biggest console franchise hence big investment.
