With each new video i love this game even more. Beautiful beyond description, i have already preordered but after this one i now can't wait.
I'm putting myself on media blackout as of now.

I get what you're saying. What I meant was even though Nintendo has shit specs they are still able to make their games look great. Mario Galaxy running in 720p is still one of the most gorgeous last gen titles I have seen.

The idea that the Wii U has no games is a meme at this point. It may not have the types of games you like, but it has plenty of games and quite a few of them are excellent.
 
Good lord the game looks beautiful especially Rainbow Road.

This is looking and sounding like it's gonna be the best Mario Kart to date.
 
I want this game injected directly into my veins.

Bonus, my son (3 years old) loves Mario. And he loves race cars. And he loves playing MKDS. He will love it.

yeah it's about high time that this excuse gets put to bed. I've got 3 GoaT games for Wii U sitting in my living room right now.

but this thread is about Mario Kart 8 hype and hyped I am!

To be fair I've noticed every console goes through this phase these days. 3DS, Vita, Wii U, PS4/One. It's as if games take time to make and not each and every release will be to our tastes! Imagine that!:0

My daughter (also 3) saw Rosalina, her favorite character from SM3DW, driving a Kart and she did a celebratory spaz lap around the entire first floor of my house. Good times.
 
Man, I got a Wii U for Christmas but have barely been playing it with all my classwork. This is looking great. HD Nintendo is just as pretty as I imagined it being.
 
This game brings back a visual identity that I thought Nintendo had lost after the N64 era. It's the direct logical continuation from their visual style back then. I hope the next Mario (Tennis, Golf, Party, JnR) game will look similar.

Adorable! My son and I play NSMBWii on occasion, and refers to the Mario Bros as "Mario and Green Mario"

I hate those downright ludicrous pricepoints so much.

The cheapest 360 SKU is at 180$ on amazon the PS3 at 250$ both without a game, let alone something close to Mario Kart.

It is almost insulting.
 
Hype levels skyrocketing. The trailer is good, but the 60fps gameplays are fantastic. Just hope online multiplayer will be great and have a variety of modes.

My daughter is almost 4, so she's getting the hang of controlling characters. It gets more fun as they learn more complicated concepts. I think Kart may actually be better than a platformer because it's somewhat less complicated. It takes skill to master of course, but anyone can play.

You have two months until your flagship Wii U title comes out. Please, for the love of god, MARKET THE SHIT OUT OF IT.

Don't have kids (Still way too young for that), but I have a 7 year old cousin who I'm sure is going to be super excited once he gets a chance to play this with me
 
After being burned out on MK for the last 8 years, and not getting into Wii and 7, I never thought I would get hyped for the next one.

But since the moment they unveiled MK8, Nintendo worked some miracle and turned me. Been hyped since June and hype is rapidly increasing still.
 
It's so good, and it's coming at the END of May…
Haven't felt the pain of waiting for so long. No idea I loved Mario Kart that much.

Funny you should say that. I just loaded up a Youtube video and the advert was a Mario Kart 8 one :)
