Can not wait. Hoping it will be up to Double Dash standards of good. Also, I hope they put out DLC for this game.
Probably won't bundle at release. That would lose sales. People are going to pick it up anyway, so why lose the MK8 standalone sales? There's a chance retailers might make their own bundle, but I would expect standalone release now, and MK8 + Wii U bundle/ SM3DW + Wii U bundle this holiday

Hnnnngggg I need this game so badly.
But there are a lot of people (like myself) that don't yet own a Wii U and would rather get one for $300 and not have to spend an additional $60 on this game. If there is a bundle, I'll get a Wii U when this releases. If there is no bundle, I won't get a Wii U and also won't get this game so Nintendo loses my sale without a bundle.

The game looks fantastic! It's also nice to hear about being able to switch off items you don't want in play. I wonder if Nintendo is going to be collecting any sort of metrics behind-the-scenes to use as a guide for what to keep/nix in future installments.
So... Any word on whether or not we'll be getting that sweet special edition of the game that Euro-land is getting? I've been holding off on pre-ordering the game for fear they'll turn around and offer it for the US.
I want that... No, I NEED that.

Gameplay GIF, you can see the spinning out boost. This really does change gameplay by it quite a bit instead of just being a visual trick that only benefits cool course design.
Don't rage when people try to bump into you lol.
I cannot imagine what the bumpfest will look like with 12 players and laggy Internet connections online.

Man, I hope that course gets considerably reworked, because it's one of the worst courses they could have selected otherwise.
Though, if they actually split up the different path ways with like, normal, anti-grav, glider, underwater sections, that could be cool. Everyone flying past each other and perpendicular intersections and all that. Would at least make it fresh.
Also, even though we've already gotten in, I think I might prefer N64 Sherbet Land over the Gamecube's.
1 retro and 1 new course left (assuming Bowser's castle and Rainbow Road are the last two, as usual). And the last retro is probably an old Bowser's Castle, I'd guess the Double Dash version, since that's usually how that works.
I'm curious what that last new course could be, then. Any archetypes we're currently missing?
