He should always remain independent now, and just sign on for exclusive deals here and there if it allows access to Sony help (tech/dev assistance/money). I doubt he'd ever want to work under a publisher again, regardless of their perceived relationship. I mean, Konami started good?

Both their games take ages to make, both release premium demos, and both disappoint with the final product.

Polyphony and Kojima should be cut loose.

Ahhh - its all hub and spoke these days - fly internationally between major hubs - Japan - US - EU and then use the cheap local planes to get around within a country. Honestly I travel a lot - it is probably cheaper this way!
