I thought he lost the weight specifically for TFA? Or did he lose it after?

Good for him, Episode VII might revive his acting career.

I don't get the sense he has wanted a "conventional" acting career for quite a while. Seems to prefer voice acting or character performances and even then I get the sense he is pretty picky about what he takes. He got a tiny piece of the profits from the original Star Wars that I'm guessing is enough to never make him have to work again if he manages it wisely.

Honestly he looks even better now than when the movie was still filming. I sure hope he's in the next one!

I'm pretty sure this recent appearance even over how he looked when he filmed TFA is exactly because he's going to be a major part of Episode 8. This is probably basically his look for the film.
