Marvel Heroes 2016 |OT3| Highway to the Danger Room

Ultron mode seems to be best for Mayhem boxes. Averaging 2-3 per run. Last go netted 5. Woot!

- edit - ^ Don't forget to see the GLF quartermaster in hammer bay. He gives you a device that will gain rep while playing every 24 hours. Its slowish but it all helps. I've never raided, and I just used those and the GLF dailys and weekly and it took a few weeks to max.

What's the device called? I don't remember getting anything from him after talking to him.

Does our supergroup ever do raids, etc together?

lol no

This is why I actually left the group the first time. I needed a group that wanted to do raids for a bit there & raids are some of my favorite content. It'll be tough getting together to do them since some members of our group are abhorrently against raids while others don't like the time commitment, are already done farming them, or other reasons.

I'll be down to run some through them though; we can put together what we can and just pug the rest.

We used to run weekly raids. Two or three times, in fact. They just stopped releasing new stuff and everyone hit full 69 gear and got burned out. By the time the "new" (lol) raid came out, many of us had taken breaks or moved on.

The green version of Musp can be easily beat with five players, probably even way less. We did that half a year ago, it seems. We can easily steamroll red Musp with a full group. Zero idea about the Onslaught stuff, but I imagine we could one shot the green version with our best characters.

Power creep in this game and limited rewards kind of killed raiding for me. I liked it back when we had to carry Kepow's ass through green Musp. Dude died early on to Monolith...

It was just hard to schedule a raid time that worked for the group of people who were interested. We did it for a while, but as interest in the game waned from some of our hardcore players, the supergroup raiding kind of stopped. I'd like to get back into it hopefully as I've yet to complete Red Musp or Axis because I don't have the full level 69 gear to be "accepted" into a pub group (even though I'd destroy most everything with my Scarlet Mitch).

We raided all the time when it helped us. Then the regular raiders got everything from Muspelhiem and stopped running it and Axis just isn't worth running.

The only source of Axis drops are off the actual bosses and the drop rates have always been shit (I have never gotten a Musp unique item as a drop, only crafted). With the release of red Axis you'll be able to craft the Axis items and then it'll be worthwhile to do the raid.

Though none of this means we can't do some Muspelhiem for new people, or for the Surtur achievement.

Yeah, you definitely don't need full 69 for red Musp. You need a working brain-to-hand connection. It's piss easy since it was designed for pre-QOL characters. I mean, the power gap between then and now is ridiculous.

I once raided with kepow. I had a surtur rune drop.

His biggest contribution.

Mark me as someone who would still like to raid with marvelgaf! Still haven't run axis, but I'd definitely be down for green/red musp runs too :)

As TC mentioned, shit is easy as long as you know the one shit kills and how to dodge them. The only reason why people require this i69 bullshit is because they feel it means you know what you're doing, since the only thing that can hold back a red raid is death count, but you can get to i69 not doing raids so the other reason why is to speed though it.

Green musp is so easy, 4 of us finished it within 5 minutes.

is there a combat log anywhere? Want to check my dps

Seems like Spiderman is quite squishy during the levelling process. Having problems with red terminals, which is quite a change after getting Captain Marvel to 60 again. Was just able to breeze through stuff with her.

I still have never done Axis and would like to some time. Haven't run Muspelheim in ages but there's just not much reason to go if you have all the i69 recipes.

also I didn't even realize red Axis is still not out, that's kind of hilarious.

Over 2k hours and never raided. I'd be game for a GAF style noob run. Pretty sure 5xi69 and nearly 6k Omega is overkill for Green Musp

Hmmm. I just recently revisited and prestiged Spidey and had no squishyness issues. He was prob my crappest geared hero who passed the cosmic trial at 60 too. Played fighting spider spec, and abused Archanid assault. Does nice damage and makes you invulnerable, so you can use it to avoid telegraphed attacks as well. Also max his defensive passive if you haven't already. Other then that not sure. Def wouldn't say he's squishy (compared to some) at 60 though

You can 5 man green Mus these days? Doesn't it give like 250 protector marks too, or whatever the one you need for the 69 recipes is called?

Dropping in to ask if there has been any more recent news surrounding controller support or a console release? If this thing comes to PS4 I would flip.

controller support with the 2016 relaunch next month; console version maybe but not announced.

I've been using DS4Windows to have bootleg customized controller support for ages now. I know I won't be able to set it exactly how I have now, so it will be really interesting to see how I can adapt to whatever their control schemes options are.

I'm also curious how the targeting and teleporting works via controller vs mouse pointing.

Prediction on what target you intended to hit and locking on, apparently.

You can tab through available targets (kind of like WoW tab targetting) and lock onto the boss or for example.

That was mentioned by King Bacon (who is doing controller support) during the last live stream.

It'll be interesting to try out, but I'm so used to the keyboard for this game that it'd have to knock it out of the park for me to switch permanently.

But what if I want to stun some people and fight different people.

I got enhanced Lady Loki costume for the gift today so I'm pretty happy with that.

Wow grats, crossing my fingers. I would like to get lucky with Shuri. If not, one extra costume to throw in a blender, well if it's a boring costume.

Edit: X-23 Xforce, it can blend. Looks kinda low detail, mask looks odd.

I'm kinda excited for controller support because hold-targeting doesn't always work, and it would make it far easier to hit consistently with sigs like Gambit's, Wolverine's, or Moon Knights that consist of multiple hits and require you to track the target manually with a mouse. A hard lock-on would make it easier to keep hitting the same boss and if it works right could be a DPS increase for idiots like me because of less human error.

I haven't unlocked spider DNA yet (I'm lvl 34), I imagine it'll get better at that point. Right now I just don't deal enough aoe damage with arachnid assault and leaping assault to clear out all blues and yellows and there's not much to do when I'm getting swarmed and they're on cooldown.

I'm leveling Gwen right now and she feels fine.

Then again, I don't do terminals for leveling anymore.

You just doing story for that? I still need odin marks so still stick to legendary quests most of the time.

Got amazing Spider-Man from the log-in reward, was kinda hoping I'd get a costume that would replace one of my defaults so I'd have something to put in the blender.

Now I can't decide between the amazing costume or the sensational one I already have.

I should give spidey another shot. Haven't played him in forever, and I got the back in black suit from the blender a while ago. Probably at least worth a prestige.

Got a Psylocke costume as the gift today

Unlocked her the other day thanks to Queenie

Going to get her to 60 today thanks to MM

In this game there are just as many female spider-man versions than there are male ;P

Blame Gaz for making it all costumes, not new characters with unique powers.

There are 20 spider-man costumes and 2 of them are female.

Yea, but all of them share the same voice work, so it's the same guy underneath.

In reality, there are 2 different voices for each, hence equal amounts of different spider-men/women under the costume.

What is with items taking AGES to load on the ground :(

I only know they're there because when I run away it has the icon showing where they are.
